I was playing Yoshi’s Island, it was my favorite game growing up. But it was different this time. The trees were covered in hyper realistic blood, the music was replaced with screams, the power ups transformed Yoshi into corpses, and at the end of the level Yoshi turned directly to the camera and said “You are next, Jonathan.” I wet my pants with hyper realistic piss...

Because I love Magic the Gathering as well as Smash Bros, and apparently hate myself, I've decided to start a project where I make a Magic the Gathering card for each character in Smash Bros. I'm planning on making one about every week, but I have no previous experiences with long-term projects like this, so I might adjust the time.

I tried to incorporate his speed, jumping ability, and FLUDD. Any constructive criticism is welcomed, but I won't edit my existing designs (80 and increasing characters is enough).

I got SMB at a garage sale. I started the game. It started normal, and then world 1-2 was different. It was hyperrealistic bloody and gory. My NES was smoking and seeping blood. Suddenly Luigi appears, but he was muted in color and had red eyes pouring blood. And then he killed Mario. He turns to the screen, and says "HAIL SATAN, 666 YOU'RE NEXT". I screamed. Tried to reset my NES, but it exploded. Then Luigi got to the screen and I had a seizure and died.

The end.

Just a penguin I think your project is looking pretty good so far. Main critique I could give about the current card itself is that A) it should probably have the Legendary border on it if you can find a template that has that border(it’s alright if you can’t) and B) flavor-wise, him gaining flying doesn't really make much sense, even if you assume the flavor here is he rides Yoshi during your turn. Creatures with flying usually need to be able to be in the air for an indefinite period of time(as shown with equipment that gives flying like Cliffhaven Kitesail being simple gliding contraptions or enchantment auras like Angelic Blessing just straight up giving creatures wings)not be able to jump high. Maybe change that to Haste(which flavorly would represent Mario rushing to save Peach) instead? edit: reading the card explains the card, he already has haste. woops.

I probably shouldn’t have woken up at 5:25am in the morning when I don’t have to leave until 8:00am at the very latest, but I am already ready for my first day of work, which is a very good thing since that means I’ll have plenty of time to get to the bus once I start riding it(it leaves at 7:15am and it’s located at my local church, which is a good 15 minutes away)

I’m obviously very, very nervous going into my first day, going over all the things that could go wrong, but with my luck, I’ll probably do fine.

Apparently 2/3 of my rides are currently closed due to temperature concerns, so I don’t know how that’s going to work, but I’ll figure it out. It’s only the first day, they’ll probably be a bit more lenient with mistakes.

I beat the first Ratchet and Clank game last night. I enjoyed it, though Ratchet was more self-centered than I expected, and the final boss was a huge step up from the rest of the game in terms of difficulty. Looking forward to seeing how the later games in the series improve on it!

I might start Persona 4 Golden later today; I beat the original version on PS3, but I didn't have access to Golden until the Steam version came out, and the original Persona 4 was fresh enough in my memory that I didn't want to play through it right away. I'm not sure what changes were made (aside from a new dungeon and a new party member), but I'll give it a shot and see if I can do better with completing the social links. (I think that, in the original game, I just got the party members, Nanako, Dojima, Margaret, and the athletes) I'm torn between that and Halo 1.

Golden actually doesn't add a new party member. Marie is an important Social Link but doesn't become playable.

Oh, okay - I guess I thought she was playable because she's playable in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and because Kasumi's playable in Persona 5 Royal.

I'm looking forward to trying it out! I'll make sure to keep multiple save files - when I played Persona 4, I encountered a nasty glitch which erased my main save file, forcing me to replay about half of the game all over again.

I beat the fourth world yesterday. The maps got even more unique compared to the ones before, so more strategy was needed. The first stage of the boss was won fairly quickly; I basically won it by accident. Second stage was annoying though.
