The film would have taken place in London during World War II, and revolved around a pre-teen boy who has drifted apart from his father. The son is introduced into the world of Sodor, a place his father visited as a child but cannot remember. There is a bonding experience.

It has also been confirmed that it would have involved a steam vs. diesel confrontation.

Wow...despite me being into the Thomas cartoon and many movies years ago I have never heard of this. The plot gives me Christopher Robin vibes. I wonder if it was scrapped because it was too dark with the WW2 stuff?

EDIT: Apparently the script was finished in 2010. They were also going to introduce a toyline for older audiences alongside the film.

I mean... I actually prefer playing a kinda fun game rather playing a terrible one just to makes jokes about it later but that's just me.

Then again, I don't believe "so bad that it's good" so there's that.

I can't help you with that last part but I personally didn't find any part of Forces to be fun.

It's better than Cape Mario imo. Cape's fun if you want to break the game, but I prefer the control Raccoon Mario has over his flight.

I just had a really crazy morning.

First I went to the dentist, then I went walking home with my mother, then we took the car to go to a shopping center while we got the news a Game was on a store chain today for 15€, we went to the shopping center and none of the stuff we wanted was there, we went to another shopping center which had two of the three things we were looking, and then we went to ANOTHER shopping center for the thing left and to buy some squid sandwiches before going to college in about an hour.

And now I'm here waiting for the classes to begin.

I'm late to the party, but Tails in Sonic Forces goes so far backwards in character development that I refuse to claim him there as canon... unfortunately, it's a mainline game so it truly happened in the main timeline, no matter how much I wanna forget about it.

Sigh Thank God Boom Tails exists. He is what Tails should be in the modern, main games as well.

Just removing Classic Sonic from the game would improve Forces dramatically.

He had no relevance to the plot, and his levels were absolute garbage, with some of the worst music I've ever heard in a video game.

It feels like they just shoehorned him in to cash in on the Mania money.

Tails in the IDW comics is way better than he is in Forces already, and he's only gonna get better. He's still timid at times, but is far more well-grounded and serves as the voice of reason in the group. When Sonic got YEETed into Blaze's dimension, it was Tails who not only reassured Amy (and Knuckles indirectly), but also was the one to get his friends focused on the Deadly Six again, since they were the next present threat.

I haven't, no. Sorry, I've been busy and stressed on and off.

Honestly, its more than just that. Imo, it's just really forgettable, or is Classic Sonic's case, straight up garbage. I really only like 5 songs in the entire game, and that was Metal Sonic's theme, Fist Bump, and the Episode Shadow soundtrack, but 4/5 of those were just remixes of songs from much better games

It's weird how using a minor legendary (like Moltres) seems like cheating but a Pseudo Legendary (like Salemrnce) feels fine, despite the latter actually being stronger.
