It’s still baffling to me that the SwSh + DLC bundle coming in a few days is full price. I get that it’s Nintendo/Pokémon but still.

The Tundra dex has 210 mons in it. So just subtract whatever total you have currently completed.

I wish you could turn down the volume of the Dynamax Pokémon’s cries specifically.

I don’t want to turn the volume down/off everytime they roar when my family is home and my Switch is docked, gosh dang it; just because them being much louder than the rest of the game is realistic doesn’t mean it’s necessary nor should it even be a thing especially without an option tied to it.

(really I think it’s cool, besides later in the evening, but I know my family will wonder why I have it up so loud with my dad telling me to turn it down and maybe asking why it’s up so dang loud; seriously it’s perfect and then BOOM loud giant Pokémon across the whole house).

edit: well, you can turn the volume of Pokémon cries down, but not just the Dynamax ones specifically it seems; just a minor nitpick I guess, at least it’s not nothing; still, gosh Game Freak...

I’m desperate for a new game to play and I’m like ‘maybe Pokémon even though SwSh is a disappointment, at least I could try to get into VGC with the new stuff?’ and then I remember that it’d cost me $90 for a game I’m only like 50% on board with on a good day.

Some legendary Pokémon definitely are easier with NPC but then there is Zygarde who is absolutely insane regardless of who your playing with.

To really wall it you need wide guard but that’s not a thing you can always get. Otherwise Pilloswine, Junx, and Cryagenoal can body it if Dynamaxed. Which again can’t alwayshappen.

Especially when people make stupid mistakes and not choose at least decent Pokémon to fight it.

Although I did just beat a round of it with G-Max Collossal, Ivysaur, Jynx and Me as Mantine.

Which is only because of Wide Guard but nasty plot Jynx was slaying the HP bar on Zygarde with IceBeam

I have 0 faith in OU becoming playable before we get Sinnoh remakes or something next year since most of their time will be spent retreading old ground before they even get to anything new that could be problematic.

Well yeah. But that’s gonna take a long time. We’ll probably be on the Switch’s successor but the time they’re even thinking about remaking the 3DS games.

In my foolish head at least, I kind of see them doing remakes every other Gen. I don't expect Gen 6/7 remakes until Gens 12/14. At the most, I can kind of see them re-releasing Gens 1-5 once Pokemon Bank/3DS Online services are discontinued.

Has it been confirmed that the DLC will be on-cart for the re-release later this month? I wouldn't mind double dipping per say if that's the case...but man has Gen 8 been such a mixed bag.

At the rate things are going we're probably not getting 3DS remakes for a decade at the earliest. DP is going on six years waiting in line for its remake, and even if it gets one next year we still have BW after them and they'll probably take a few years as well. Unless they expediate the schedule even more then they have then XY remakes are not coming for a long time, and if anything it's probably better if they slow down so they can have more time to work on the games and flesh out the ideas they want to do.

That is a huge jump, as Kyurem-B was OU in USUM. It wasn't even that good in OU.
