News of one of the Royals dying while it is sad, just more of a huh to me. I'm not from London or England nor am I proud of the nation thing so I don't feel connected to it all.

Plus I don't get the obsession with the Royal Family. They have no real power in government and are just there really. I also hear that even some Americans are obsessed with them which is ironic.

I speak this from being an Irish in the UK.

Sad to say it but our beloved Queen likely only has a few more years as more often than not at this time of age, a widower passes on a few years after. That's what happened with Stan Lee.

For those who didn't bother or can't read the article, the jist of it is that Creativity at Sony is dead. Sony is basically killing their own studios so that they can funnel in more samey safe interactive movies from their big wig studios like Naughty Dog. That's exactly why their studio in Japan is dead, it's why we'll probably never see any classic IP that isn't Ratchet and Clank again, and yeah.

This is the same Jim Ryan who noted how the PS1 and PS2 games looked ancient and questioned why anybody would play them.

The Last of Us is mid either way. Seems dumb to remake a game that already had a remaster and isn't even 10 years old. I get going safe at first, but it seems much smarter to save that for later down the line and re-make something like a PS2 title. Maybe ICO or somethin'. Who knows, maybe this is how the X-Box will win people over.

Insomniac's backs are gonna hurt carrying Sony.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't PS5 selling gangbusters? I don't think this console generation is going to give Sony a big reason to change their ways.

Is it? All I still hear is people having issues still trying to get it. Clearly people want it, but the supply isn't meeting the demand currently. So I don't know if that's gangbusters yet.

This is also apparently a thing that they made PS4 game discs unreadable once the server for the console inevitably dies. So they are DEDICATED to the idea of people abandoning older games for newer hardware.

John Walker may have great power and authority as the government's Captain America, but he is not very responsible with how he is using Steve's shield to brutally kill a Flag Smasher. Steve would never use his shield to kill anyone and John really tarnished his own reputation.

Sony, what you really need to do? Give us a new Twisted Metal, remake collectinos for Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, and Ape Escape's original trilogies; an HD port of Heavenly Sword, a new WipeOut, a remake of MediEvil 2, a new God of War that's actually a hack and slash, a remake of War of the Monsters, FF7R style rekmaes for Legend of Dragoon and Wild Arms, a new PaRappa, a new inFamous (with ports of the original games to PS5), Tomba remakes, a Remaster of Starhaw, something Syphon Filter related, and heck, throw in a new Q*Bert game while you're at it too. Then please do a new PlayStation All-Stars game.

And remember, half of those ideas are all remakes and ports so you're still playing it safe.
