I don't agree with all of the principles of Thanksgiving, over eating because the Puritans came over to America and slaughtered the Indians for their land after helping the Puritans grow crop and whatnot, resulting in our civilization. Despite these suppressed horrors, there are things to be thankful for. Embrace the people and things you care deeply for, but practice doing so everyday, and not just on holidays with gluttonous overtones.
