As an out-of-towner, lemme just say that playing you guys was a breath a fresh air. I usually only play against a handful of people here in Austin, and some of friends back in LA get campy/spammy when they don't practice due to college. Everyone I fought at Gamelot 7 provided a new challenge for me. Next school year, I'll definitely Brawl with you guys more often.

Some of you should come down to LA this summer and compete. You can see what humid REALLY is.

I get good by going to a lot of tournaments and learning from the people better then me.

So I'm back to hosting at Gamelot.....

but I'm not sure about a may tournament.

Suspect I think will need to stick with Frosty 2 on May 16th, unless you want to switch it over to Gamelot and I'll run it, I'll just redirect everyone to it.

Otherwise, there is Santi's tourney on the 23rd, and Akon the 30th. I can't do either of those weekends.

June 20th/21sr or 27th/28th is looking to be Final Smash 6 (the Brawl edition).

I'm gone on the 27th. >_> As in, I'll be out of state already by that day gone. I vote for the 20th.

As for the SA scene: it doesn't seem too spammy to me. It could be a lot worse. Maybe it's because I ended up against Espy, Nike 20, and a Snake last time.....

My gameplay last Saturday wasn't great, I rushed into my approaches, got punished, camped, got figured out then punished again. I'm going to develop a new playstyle and when that gets figured out I'll develop another one. Maybe by that time I'll be so super awesome no one can touch me and be able to adjust to different playstyles at will. I'm currently not there yet.

I would like to play Frost, Prime, and Espy a whole lot more. Get at me, guyz.

If u complain about the level of your community...U have to improve as a whole. San angelo drives 6-8 hours to attend our tournies...of course its not like they've been to all of them but they've been to more than u guys. Its not like HOBO's are every week, their every month. Also, i know u have a job, save some money from ONE paycheck and there u go, tourney money. Its all about making a effort man.

Of course I say this all because I want to see u guys. Especially morningstar, I like playing against snake . Including Razer i have succesfully 2 stocked every snake ive ever played. Don't feel bad. Once i **** Razer at HOBO 16, il be a snake killer.

Well my situation is a lil different my parents being divorced for a while so its just me and my mom and she doesnt make alot of money. So its just taking me a lil while to get situated. Also didnt help that we moved alot. I dont work a ton but will when the summer starts (sea world aka slave world) /sad story

Hylian needs to teach me car care. If I could get my car fixed up all nicelike, I'd carpool others to other states and the such.

Having your own car is the greatest thing in the world, and I'm sure Hylian would agree.

I'm usually busy. I'm a full time college student with a job, a needy family (in terms of wanted me to be there with them), two other groups I have obligations to, then the Smash Bros. community, as well as other misc. duties.

With a job, tournament money isn't too hard to come by.

But I try as hard as I can to make every possible grouping or tournament. Much kudos goes to Greyfox and Nike for carpools though. Those guys are crazy.

I can't get around to many tournaments because I don't have a job and I'm a noob at driving and haven't driven on highways yet, let alone out of city/state. Longest drive was over an hour, only because I got lost looking for an entrance that didn't exist. >_> That was the same day I found out how badly my defrost fails as there was moister in the car.

Ok a few things from the 3 pages I read.

Gnes - Lol so much johns flying around here in SA but you know what? Only Me, Espy, and Prime are willing to goto OoT tourneys. I only john about not being able to goto HOBO. Us 3 are going to a HOBO one of these days even if it kills me.

Nike - I have to give it back. Crashing my comp isn't sexy at all.

KM - Sweet F-in beans guy. You know that I'll be there. *hopes I don't collect pool johns*
