Something I forgot to mention is that as Meta Ridley, there would be more to work with in regards to a moveset.

Not that organic Ridley doesn't have enough to go with, but Meta Ridley has everything regular Ridley's got (except that new scale hardening thing from Other M), and:
-Kinetic Breath Weapon
-Meson Bomb Launcher
-Ultrathermal Flamestrike Projector
-Multi-Missile System

making for some interesting options in regards to his style.

Yep the more pictures without Ridley in pyrosphere just adds 0.1 percent to hes playable every time to my 95% chance at this point.

Sakurai couldn't possibly hype a major hazard like Ridley and then only put him in either of the consoles.
Which concludes me, just by that thought, that an iconic and major "boss" like Ridley to be a Playable character.

I just released we are in denial as much as the people saying Wonder Red can still be playable. Ugh.

What makes me annoyed is that a lot of Ridley fans are so blinded by bias that they can't accept it.

He let us think Zamus was disconfirmed for literally one second. Ridley has been going on for two months, longer if you count the first daily pic where he hinted Ridley. Two months is unprofessional, one second is just a joke. Besides, for that one second he let us believe that Zamus had NO purpose in the game, which is not teasing, while for this two months he is having us believe that Ridley is a stage hazard, which IS a purpose, so that is why it isn't unprofessional to troll Zamus. And you can't speak for everyone and say no one wants Ridley as a stage boss.

Just quoting a few select favorites over the past several pages. Number one actually having substance to it:

To ease everyone's nerves from pointless arguments...let's look at the facts.

We got this stage revealed back on August 20th of last year,
A.) Why wasn't Ridley shown with the stage or shortly after?
B.) If this is such an important mechanic to the developers as shown later by in-depth analysis of the Yellow Devil, why was this part pushed off to the side?
C.) Why the hell did it take us almost 8 months to get information on what the hell goes on on this stage?

And of course, we all saw it, a Shadow of MOM Ridley on the stage, hinting a boss hazard. Well okay, that's fine and dandy but again...

A.) Why are we just seeing a shadow and not just describing and/or showing full gameplay of a fight against him when we clearly know who it is.
B.) Why did it, again, take you 8 months to show us this when we've literally been left in the dark this entire time?
and C.) Why is that hazard so damn odd?

Some would say "Oh he's not completed yet" and I ask "If this is an important addition to a stage, why would this one stage be rejected for more than half a year and just now be in the starting phases of getting possibly its most important element?"

You can dislike Ridley if you want, you can say he may not be playable because may damn well not be...but let me ask you this...does that, at all, sound normal to you?

It's incompetence as evidence all over again. See my analogy of Capcom showing Mega Man in a MvC game, only to reveal him as a background character even though he is a very requested playable character. It's not IMPOSSIBLE obviously, but it's a bad idea. Why would someone do that?

Sorry, I haven't read your analogy, and it might make sense, but I've got to put you in your place... Not quite a background character, but this definitely fits in your definition of "bad idea" that is very relatable.

And the thing is Sakurai knows the newcomers are the biggest selling point. He has these fancy trailers to make a big deal outta them and everything. For every silly character there is there should be like 3 awesome highly requested newcomers to make up for it.

I really hope that Sal leak gets disproven. Too many B-C tier level characters......

Sal's 2nd leak isn't terrible though- Shulk, Chrom, Palutena are all good characters. If Sal got confirmation of Ridley, then we wouldn't be in a tight spot.

My problem with Palutena is that she's a freaking Goddess. I can get Shulk or Chrom, as they would be plausible for yer average mortal to defeat, and Pit's a bit stretching it for me, but an entire goddess is just weird for me to comprehend.

Then again, we do have small electric rodents defeating giant dragon turtles while a space bounty hunter fires energy orbs at a 12 year old that can just pocket the thing. Smash is a weird game when you think about it...

Since there is nothing to talk about, I'm going to a little off topic. It's Metroid related so it's not that bad. I recently finished the Trilogy edition of Echoes for the second time, and realized just how much I like the music that plays during the final battle. Especially how it incorporates the title theme of the game into the melody. I REALLY like when games do this for some reason. I was wondering if there were any other songs that do this. I know a few such as Magmoor=LowerNorfair, SubTorvus=LowerBrinstar, TallonOverworld=Brinstar(IIRC?), GreenBrinstar=EchoesMultiplayer(can't remember the name of the song), PirateHomeworld=SpacePirates(SM), and even Phendrana=Arcterra(Hunters). Of course there is the obvious usage of the same title screen music in several games, along with Samus' theme, Ridley's theme (of course), and the entrance and item jingles. But are there any other songs that reference other songs within the series, and if not, what songs would you like to see from the series represented in Smash?

Many say that the battle and music were not the big deal, in comparison to Meta Ridley in prime 1....but I really loved the battle itself and the music...and it is funny that when I listen to it on my laptop, the beats are so strong that my internet signal gets interrupted....And I have a soft spot for Omega's design for some reason...

I don't like very much that leak too but if it is true ...

Pretty much comes down to design and marketing choices for NoJ and NoA respectively, mostly for the generic reason of 'this will make it more appeal this culture understanding while this won't. Whether it's true or not is another story.

There was no boss section of the direct. There was only a "Yellow Devil" section. And you seem to either be completely ignoring how hindsight works, or you are entirely oblivious to the concept. Which would be ironic, but the way you've been rattling bull off it's not particularly surprising.

EDIT: Wait no, I get it now! Since Ridley was in the YELLOW DEVIL section of the direct, Ridley is the Yellow Devil! Everything you said suddenly makes sense.
