He already stated that just because namco is helping develop it doesn't mean they get any special treatment like a character in SSB4.

He said that they won't get special treatment when it comes to characters.

That doesn't mean that Pac-Man isn't getting in. It means that this isn't Nintendo x Namco.

Anthony Higgs is the same thing as how people wanted Midna in Brawl: he isn't iconic, he has been in one game and 3 chars that are more important than him are ATs
He won't get in, I'm sorry, I didn't even knew he existed before seeing people saying he should get over Ridley

The fact that we may once again not have Ridley, the main antagonist of the Metroid series as a playable character is already a kick in the smashballs, but adding a one shot character over him and/or Dark Samus would basicly be spitting at us while flipping the bird.

If you want a character to take over Snake old moveset, ask for an advance wars rep, at least they have a reason to have to have a bazooka and flying objects (helicopters and planes) unlike Anthony.

Then what about them adding Namco Assist trophy such as that Galaca game assist trophy.

But what other characters could represent their franchise better? Sheik was part of Zelda's moveset and in a way is still Zelda. About, ROB, he is th joke chracter in Brawl, adding Anthony Higgs over Ridley is a literal "F**K YOU!" from Sakurai to his fans

Sheik is (or was, at least) an alternate form of Zelda, who's been in many games. R.O.B. is a representative of his own historical series, which is small.

I believe R.O.B. had two games, though.

An AT is something different of a playable char, Namco can just slap then and Sakurai wouldn't mind but it's him who makes the hitboxes, which means more work for something he didn't approve

It's kind of hard to tell, but there are definitely embers on the regular version of the stage, and none on the Final Destination version. It's pretty easy to notice if you watch the footage of the Direct.

Hmmm strange that the stage on Ridleys appearance is on the normal one but yet has the appearance of the final destination.

I'm starting to wonder that maybe:

the 4 Trophy quiz shown @ direct represented Bosses from each of those series.
Example: Fi from skyward sword
boss for that series could be demise.

No, the trophy quiz theorizes that it hints at playable chars(Chrom, Zelda char, Ridley, Palutena)

so does that mean someone from that series.
But who could that possibly be?

While I wouldn't mind him, but he is a one-shot char, but all the important Zelda chars have already been added which makes room for him I guess?

...are you implying that Anthony Higgs is more important than Mother Brain, a Metroid, and Dark Samus?

Because you'd be painfully wrong. Even a generic Metroid has several points over Higgs, and I'm fairly sure that the AT is supposed to be the Super Metroid, based on the size.

I would advise you to actually pay attention to what is being said. I am of the opinion that Ridley is more than likely not going to be playable at this point. I was inquiring as to why Ultra was apparently mocking a certain artist we have on this forum for liking Ridley. Aside from that, neither you nor Ultra have actually said anything about why Ridley is a stage hazard, in your opinion. So, again, pay attention please. If you'd like to actually have a civilized debate, I'm all for it.
