Nope. I've checked the gif, he's no more than a foot of so taller than Samus, an that's only if he stands fully upright.

I think Ridley SHOULD be big, and intimidating. It works with the character. But he should be able to fit in. If Pikachu can be almost as big as Mario, I don't think this'll be too hard to do.

Ah, so he's not fat enough...
But I think wider than Ganondorf is a little too much. Ganondorf packed a few pounds in between Melee and Brawl. If Ridley was that wide, or even wider, he wouldn't be able to fly anymore. Or he would, and he'd be too similar to Charizard.

That is one of my favorite Ridley designs. Plus is that his tail is much smaller than some other forms.

Notably, Waluigi was only an Assist, and Mewtwo, who has a purple tail, was cut from Brawl. Ridley was also a boss. Twice. Both times, he was purple.
Captain Falcon used to be wear purple, but now he wears blue.

This obviously means that if you are purple as a default color, you aren't getting in (unless your color is changed). This is why we can get Wario......in his biker outfit. No purple there. (His pants are pink; pink is ok.)
