So how old is Anthony Higgs? this image confuses me.

Samus looks to be about as tall as Anthony is in Other M.... maybe the Power Suit with the high heels make her look taller than 6'3"?

It's a two-headed person in an egg, the right head being a man with a pointy beard and the left head being a woman with a fancy hat, and they're riding some four-legged animal that's REALLY tired!...?

So, what's with Young Samus though? Anyways, I've been trying to think of a few Final Smash ideas for Ridley. I'm guessing that Meta-Ridley would be a cool one to choose. But that giant Fireball from Other M might be a decent choice if you wanted something a little more direct.

Who knows, maybe Sakurai will troll us adding Young Samus (Zero suit) as a playable character....

Hey yeah, then she can have a thumbs up taunt. 'Cause you see "thumbs down" is actually a sign of respect with Samus, so a thumbs up would be the opposite even though thumbs down is typically a sign of disapproval which means Samus would disprove with a thumbs up which would confuse the opponents and Samus would attack them and they'd be like "But you approved" and Samus would be like "Confession Time: I lied!" So edgy! :D

While I prefer Brawl's Ridley Design, he looks quite good like this with the other characters. Just bend his 'beak' down, make him a Little darker, and change his White-tipped tail spike. ^^

I dunno if it was in this thread or not but I believe I already mentioned that I actually like the Other M Ridley design. it'll probably look really nice in Smash 4 like how they cleaned up Other M's Varia Suit.

If they want to fix the beak, an easy way to adjust it is to go with the Zero Mission beak, which is also a bit thinner and sharper than the SM design. The difference between the ZM and Other M beak being that it bends downwards towards the end. Would also fit well with Mother Brain's ZM design, though that's of course pretty irrelevant since it's just an AT.

After seeing AngelGlory's little comparison I'm just even more convinced that Other Ridley will still be an awesome Ridley, no matter if the beak is changed or not.

Well, I feel accomplished. Ignited a Ridley argument in GameXplain's weekly Smash 4 discussion video's comments by stating my opinion and even posting my size comparison but still ended up with the top comment.
(Plus I just want my comparison to spread across the inter-webs)

I like Other M's mostly cause of the body type and stuff. The beak doesn't phase me that much, but I get why other people don't like it. I really like how the tail spike is more like a sword honestly! It matches his new sharp-as-hell white claws! Also, dose spikes of villainy tho.

I suppose having a more muscular Ridley with that kind of anatomy could possibly be easier to work with. Even his neck more "normal" like Charizard's. I would agree that if they went with his Other M design they should probably make him a darker shade of purple. And fix the beak, but most already would want that to happen as it is.

I'll just say, if the worst case scenario happens and Ridley is not playable despite a model like that being possible and despite countless modders pulling it off without a problem, I'll be fully prepared to label Sakurai incompetent and a Too Bigot. Because there's no reason at this point why something like that can't be made to happen.

I've always liked the Other M Samus design too, in general I just like the more sleak Samus designs over the bulky ones. My favorite Samus design remains the flat shouldered one from Zero Mission actually (coincidentally it also has my favorite Ridley design.) And while I don't particularly like the Other Ridley design in comparison to the rest of the Ridley designs (with the exception of super ugly Neo-Ridley,) it's still Ridley, and he still looks cooler than the rest of the Nintendo cast, so yeah.

You're certainly not losing any credibility in my book, if anything I kind of envy you for being able to enjoy Other M as a game. The more you can enjoy, the better.

I'll admit that I'd feel bad by calling Sakurai such things, he is one of my favorite video game developers both with Smash Bros. and Kirby. However, with the creativity that we know Sakurai possesses there's simply no excuse anymore. If he can make Mother Brain work as an AT, then he sure as hell can make Ridley work as a playable character too. He'd have to hold a personal grudge towards Ridley for him not to be in this time.

Well technically the possibility Sakurai simply decided not include him, not because he couldn't get him added. Which is the real worse case scenario as it would mean that Ridley never would have a chance regardless of how possible or popular of a character he would be if the team doesn't consider it.

Ridley's Other M design is pretty damn good. Seriously, Other M was a disaster of a game, but Ridley's design (and Samus' as well) are the least of the game's problems. That being said, if possible, I'd like Ridley to have his Zero Mission design in SSB4, but I'd take Other M Ridley over no Ridley any day.

Ok you need to fix charizards and Mario's eyes theres no pupils

But this is good because its is exactly the same as AngelGlory's size compare but with other m design which is sadly more likely to be the ridley we get.

I'm more surprised that they always bring up the hunters and never Dark Samus who is the main villain of the prime series.
Dark Samus is really the only potential Metroid character not called Ridley who have at least a chance at being playable.
