Not that I don't appreciate the support for Ridley, but holy hell your avatar gives me the creeps.Ridley is by far my favorite character I would like to see playable in SSB4.

So since Miyamoto would like Retro to make a new metroid game, if we were to get a trailer for it at E3 2014, do you people think that Ridley could be announced for SSB4 at E3 as well ?
He very well could. However, I doubt they'd be far enough in development for a new Metroid to have a trailer at E3 2014, since it seems like Retro aren't currently working on it, just that it's in their future. So since Miyamoto would like Retro to make a new metroid game, if we were to get a trailer for it at E3 2014, do you people think that Ridley could be announced for SSB4 at E3 as well ?
While I agree, I've seen worse pics of the Jiggs before. Not that I don't appreciate the support for Ridley, but holy hell your avatar gives me the creeps.
No need to go further into detail please. While I agree, I've seen worse pics of the Jiggs before.
Believe me, I had no plans to do so.No need to go further into detail please.
That's assuming Ridley will even be in said trailer of new Metroid game that Miyamoto wants Retro to make, which in a way kind of already brings back bad memories of his brief appearance in the first Other M trailer and people's reactions to it.So since Miyamoto would like Retro to make a new metroid game, if we were to get a trailer for it at E3 2014, do you people think that Ridley could be announced for SSB4 at E3 as well ?
Edit : 300 posts, eh ?
THIS IS RIDLEY !!!
Inb4 someone responds with "No! This is Patrick!"Edit : 300 posts, eh ?

You're probably right, it would make sense to keep a character from a franchise as an unlockable character rather than give us the entire cast of playable character from a series at the very start.I think that if Ridley would be in SSB4 he wouldn't be announced untill release..since he to me looks like an unlockable character.
But I want more Metroid NOOOW 'n'He very well could. However, I doubt they'd be far enough in development for a new Metroid to have a trailer at E3 2014, since it seems like Retro aren't currently working on it, just that it's in their future.
I wasn't a Metroid fan at the time so I didn't look at the reactions, I don't want to even imagine them ^^That's assuming Ridley will even be in said trailer of new Metroid game that Miyamoto wants Retro to make, which in a way kind of already brings back bad memories of his brief appearance in the first Other M trailer and people's reactions to it.

Nope, it's once a week. Kind of a shame that it was blown this early this week.Has Pyrosphere ever been shown more than once a week?
Really? I thought that the original not selling well in Japan was the reason NoA didn't bother putting a save battery in the US cart. *shrugs*Metroid WAS popular. The original trilogy sold well in Japan. Its only since the series resurrection that the Japanese have barely any interest in the Metroid series. The best selling post-1994 Metroid game was actually Metroid Fusion with a measly 160K which is around what Fire Emblem sells in Japan on its absolute worst day.
All the other Metroid games released in Japan after the original trilogy have sold under 100K (though Hunters may have barely cracked 100K simply due to how large the DS install base was).
I am pretty sure the original Metroid sold around a million copies in Japan. Super Metroid sold around 700-800K. While Metroid II did around 200-350K. Its been a long time since I have seen the Japanese sales figures for the original trilogy so my memory is a bit foggy.Really? As far as I understood it they simply decided to put the save battery into LoZ instead. My guess is that the save battery wasn't exactly cheap, and they likely couldn't afford giving it to both Metroid and Zelda, so they decided to give it to the longer game and the game that was made by Miyamoto. The original Metroid did do fairly well in Japan.Really? I thought that the original not selling well in Japan was the reason NoA didn't bother putting a save battery in the US cart. *shrugs*
Really? I was under the impression they did it because they thought Zelda would be more popular. As far as I understood it they simply decided to put the save battery into LoZ instead. Most likely that too. I'm sure there were multiple reasons.Really? I was under the impression they did it because they thought Zelda would be more popular.

I would really love to see Giga Tingle as a boss SSB4.The latter.
It's shining a light to Giga Tingle's weakpoint.
I gave up trying to figure that out a long time ago.I don't even.... what thread is this? O.o
