If Ridley or K.Rool got in, I would be ecstatic. As to which I prefer, such a decision is too great for my mortal comprehension.

Surprised nobody has drawn a picture of Ridley and K. Rool being like best friends doing best friend related stuff, like burning down orphanages, poisoning the water supply, and putting peanut butter in the fridge.

... Sakurai's already said in an interview that he's not going to be implementing touch screen controls for GamePad/3DS play, in any case.

I don't want to jinx our luck or anything, but one thing that keeps me hopeful for Ridley is that it's been over a month since the Pyrosphere stage was revealed. You'd think that if Ridley were a part of the stage, Sakurai wouldn't be so secretive about it.

If by next E3 we have seen absolutely no signs of Ridley on any Metroid stages at all, or (assuming she is revealed beforehand) not seen on Zero Suit Samus's update, I think we may finally be able to hope for the best. Sakurai may make questionable decisions, but he's a pretty smart guy. He takes this feedback seriously. Doesn't hurt to ask him about his stance on Ridley regardless, just as one person did for Mewtwo during a Pokemon conference.

Also, looking forward to when Nintendo gets around to making the Miiverse update for the 3DS. My siblings bought me an XL for my birthday, God help me I'll be spamming pictures of Ridley and others for days when Miiverse arrives :)

So to get this somewhat on track again with a decent discussion:

What music would you want to play on the Pyrosphere stage besides the obvious Ridley theme from Other M?

I'd personally love Lower Norfair's music on it, not only because it'd be a great fit, but because it's my favorite piece of Metroid music.
