Adam THOUGHT the metroid was immune to cold so his intent was to stop Samus from dyimg from an unbeatable metroid by stunning her AND the metroid and then move Samus to safety. was I not clear with my response?

Again, what is there to be gained by shooting her first? Wouldn't have been better to warn her personally so she doesn't shoot the thing that may be unkillable and not leave her a sitting duck?

it wasn't just expository diologue if you remember her flashback from when she was younger.

if they wern't than thats a plot hole in metroid fusion because it was stated that they were all exterminated.

Adam doesn't even clearly explain himself as to why he shot Samus and then the Metroid. if I was Adam, the smart thing to do would've been to verbally call Samus's attention, then explain the situation as they flee. then Samus probably would've attempted to kill the Metroid, or bait it somewhere where it could be trapped.

I don't think that would have been a good decision because she would have already been fighting by the time Adam would have explained all this to her

Other M creates a ton of continuity and plot errors within the canon by attempting to retcon the Prime games and Fusion. it is a character assassination of Samus. you are the dissenting minority of maybe 1% of players who doesn't understand this and are fighting a losing battle trying to justify Sakamoto's poor directorship. please get the thread back on topic before I Metroid fanboy rage and hit something hard with something harder.

So it's "character assasination" when something new is revealed about Samus? LMAO the whole point of other M was to be a deep exploration of Samus character; something which theyve never done before. This proves you know nothing about Samus' characterization in previous titles which was almost nonexistent.

please show me where in metroid fusion it says they were stragglers from SM because i'm thinking you made that up.

and if they were stragglers from SM it would mean Fusion had a plot hole because it said that the space pirates were destroyed in SM.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Other M design was used and then made "harder" or more dynamic like Samus's armor was. I actually really like her Smash 4 appearance even though I prefer the Prime 2 iteration of the Varia Suit over the Other M and Super designs

that was the point of my first post. I'm not trying to say i don't think ridley has chances anymore. I think the longer we don't see him in screenshots of that stage, the better his chances are. I just don't think there's any way Sakurai wasn't talking about ridley in that one quote.
