I know ridley is really cool, but don't give up on smash if he's a stage hazard.

Anyways to get our minds off the screenshot. What's your favorite version of the Ridley theme.

Personally, I really liked Ridley's appearances in Brawl. He made for some awesome boss battles. He even came back as Meta Ridley, which was nice surprise for Prime fans.

Genuine question: For the "playable Ridley no matter what" crowd, would you be fine with this?

You could always be happy that Ridley could be featured in a multiplayer stage as a boss instead of only a single player mode boss, but.... I don't think many people here want to settle for that.

Honestly yes, as I like Ridley in any forme.

I'd love a taunt where he regurgitates his Lil' Birdie husk before swallowing it again, and maybe a Mystery Creature palette swap. Which would probably get used often if it didn't have the dreaded duck lips.

I wouldn't mind the evolution gimmick, but think they could do a better job with classic Ridley.

He and Nintendo both know that Ridley's announcement would create MASSIVE amounts of hype. If he was/is a stage hazard I think he would be revealed right away. Plus the lava on the left of the picture looks threatening. Metroid stages have always had a hazard. Having Ridley and Lava seems like overkill. I would give Ridley as a playable character a 55% or Stage Hazard Ridley a 45%

I've noticed non-native speakers are pretty often better with it than those who've been raised with it. I don't get how that keeps happening.
