Important The Ridley for SSB4 Thread - End of an Era

Ridley is a fictional creature. Name one vertebrate that has wings separate from its arms, or that goes through the kind of metamorphosis shown in Other M. There aren't any. If Ridley can do those things, then he can have insect-style wings. Birds and bats only have their wings as part of their arms because they evolved from regular forelimbs.

Name one creature that does go through that sort of metamorphosis that has bones. See, I can use this sort of fallacious argument, too!

And Ridley should be heavy, but doesn't need floaty. Slow falls, maybe (at least while he's got air control), but I don't see why his jumps need to... wait. I might be using a bad definition here. When we say "floaty," we're talking like Mewtwo in Melee, right? Slow falls, sluggish jumps?

Claw noises heard, lava bursts out of a new-opened wall behind the trio, Pyrosphere is now lit up.
The trio looks around cautiously, with noises of wings flapping feintly hearable. (Meanwhile, Game & Watch stolls in the background for no good reason with no gameplay of him shown once more, because why the hale not)
Then, a screech.
There, he flies down.
Ridley.

SUDDENLY PLASMA GUN SHOT, BANG!
The four turn towards where the plasma shot came from.

And Ridley is a boss.

I still believe Ridley will get a September reveal the day/week before release.

yeah, by a japanese player who gets the game early, if they decide to wait THAT long.

if sakurai waits too long, ridley is going to get a very boring, very "meh" reveal from a random player who gets lucky, pretty much every game out there is gotten early by some people.

If Ridley isn't revealed as a playable character before the japanese reveal, I don't see him being playable at all. Bandana Dee and Isaac I can see, but Ridley is just too popular and controversial to NOT be shown before release in a trailer.

Seriously, Metroid is the opposite of a realistic video game series, if anything. Arguing about Ridley's biology is just... I don't even.

I also got Brawl's roster size nearly spot on. I predicted 40 characters, and we got 39.

I originally guess 51 characters for Smash 4. This was due to my clever but hindsight stupid math, which said that each of the past 2 games the roster grew by 14 then 13, predicting we'd get 12 more, whereas I forgot the "oh, SSE cut all the good stuff" factor, which means more.

Then, after Greninja, my guesses grew weekly for 6 weeks.

In other words, my roster got more enlargements THAN PAMELA ANDERSON!!!

After Lucina and Robin, holy crap, I care barely justify only 58 characters.

So if we get 57 only, blame me for not being BATMAN CRAZY OPTIMISTIC!!!

Seriously, the crazy in me isn't debating whether we'll get a Dixie/K. Rool shared trailer or just one or none.

Seriously though, those wonky wing sizes and thin neck. Metroid is not realistic in any fashion whatsoever. Samus can roll up into a morph ball by turning into energy for gods sake.

I dunno about which characters will be in the poster (besides Ridley and Samus), but most if not all posters so far are drawn in the same style as the artworks from the character's series, so I am expecting Ridley's poster to have a similar art style to this:
