They're all being super salty about Lucario's inclusion. Thinking Mewtwo and Lucario can't Co-Exist. Thinking a set slot number is in place and ect. Just misguided idiocy really.

I must say that Lucario is my #1 favorite Pokémon, and while I'd personally prefer Mewtwo over him in Smash, I'd LOVE to see them co-exist in a titan's duel! I've wanted to see that ever since I saw that poster of Mega Lucario and Mega Mewtwo duking it out!
Well, we DO have proof Mewtwo was cut due to time constraints...

Birdley wouldn't even eat Tingle. Just rip him open and leave it at that. Nobody likes Tingle, even as a source of nutrients.
The Japanese love Tingle though, but everywhere else, it takes 98 Tingles to get the nutrition of a breadcrumb, even Little Birdie might agree
I agree. GamesRadar is a joke though, they really didn't know anything. Ridley is too big has beena meme since Brawl though, so it's not like it's a new thing. (Not an actual spoiler below)
Logically speaking, the longer we go without information on Ridley, the better his chances get. If Ridley's a boss, he could just be revealed at any time they want; the fact that they still refuse to acknowledge him after blatantly teasing him so long ago just increases his chances further.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Ridley (if he's a fighter) will have the last newcomer trailer? One final hype trailer for the long awaited fighter before release to get people (except the detractors who will be crying about it) more hyped to play the game?
This, pretty much. Of course, the fear of the PotD of DOOOOOOOM won't be quelled that way.

Personally, I don't think he's playable, but for the sake of discussion; let's assume he is. Ridley would most likely be unlockable. yes? Well if we've seen anything from Sakurai, it's that he has shown off a few unlockables via trailer (most notable Mega Man and Pac-Man). However, he also said we were nearing the end of newcomer trailers (not newcomers). Let's assume aside from third parties that unlockable newcomers don't get trailers. Would he get a trailer? No.
It would be strange if Ridley was unlockable if Pyrosphere was a starter level.
Perhaps; however, I suspect that an internationally popular character like Mewtwo would be saved for the final hype trailer. Nothing indicates that the two cannot share a trailer. He's one of the most requested characters ever. So I think it would be a mistake to not give him a trailer hyping his inclusion. But I see what you mean. He could be a secret character/unlockable character.
On the other hand, there's a first time for everything. IF Ridley was teased like this because he is playable, then I wouldn't be surprised if Sakurai used him as an Hype-Bomb. After all, Ridley is pretty much the most controversial character there is, and one of the most requested too.
How so? Dr. Mario is fought on Princess Peach's Castle in Melee. Snake is fought on Shadow Moses Island. Why would that be any different.
The 3DS version is coming out first, but we don't know how long that was planned for. He is hinted at being a boss if he is not playable, if we were to play the game upon release and Ridley WAS NOT a boss on that level then we would all assume him to be unlockable, thus killing any hype.
But consider this, Sakurai is trolling the fanbase. No doubt about it. Knowing him; he'd probably do the opposite and keep trolling till release.
Possibly. But keep this in mind, Ridley has both a big amount of fans, a big amount of haters and a big amount of people who simply think it's impossible for him to be included. Would releasing a trailer centered around him be a troll move in its own right?
Sort of? I started here about a year ago but lost interest several months back, and yesterday I rejoined on a whim.

To what avail, might I ask? Upon release, Ridley is announced by merit of being in the game. So what purpose would he have to "troll" the fan-base (assuming "trolling" is withholding information on a game yet to be released)? Sakurai is not incompetent.
In theory, yes. Rather, I would see it more as a "take that, *****" trailer rather than a trolly one.
I fail to see any impact on this. Pyrosphere may not be in the 3DS game.
If Ridley and Mewtwo were revealed in the same trailer the internet would do this:
GamesRadar is a complete joke. They "predicted" that Marth would be cut.
I'm not sure that the 3DS game was always planned to be released prior to the Wii U version. I just think it's an odd choice.
Regardless I still fail to see why that would affect Ridley having a trailer.
