Seeing those images kinda makes me uncomfortable, even though they're just drawings.

The problem I find with them is that if the respective fans see these images, they may end up becoming detractors (if they aren't one already)...

There's enough of those (detractors) already, we don't need any more ._.

With that last one, I kind of agree. I didn't mind the others, because the characters could be interpreted to get away, with Birdley just chasing after them and nibbling away chunks, which I was fine with.

That whole graphically dismembering a beloved character thing... That's kind of taking it too far.

You know the image with Midna made me despise Little Birdie even more than I already do, so if there's a trophy reveal with that thing, that means I'm going to kill it with plasma....or I'm going to kill it with Ridley...

Yeah. I can understand that people like him, I mean, he has finger guns, arm guns, turns into a cannon gun thing, hes pretty damn cool. But I feel bad for them, because despite Geno's popularity (which would normally ensure at least an assist trophy or sticker) he is doomed to never being able to enter the game because We Can't Have Nice Things-Enix. It's worse than what Ridley had to face, because Ridley had an actual chance to get in. Geno, being mercilessly locked away in Squeenix's torture dungeon vault, will never see the light of day again.

But I'm tangentiating. It's weird that there was such a strong rivalry, I wonder how that hatred came into existence, and why.

AS true as this is, there are currently plans, no matter how hopelessly idealistic they may seem, to mount a rescue effort. Check out the Geno support thread sometime. =p

If the theory that Ridley is both a boss and a playable character holds true, in addition to Little Birdie as an assist trophy... I will be thoroughly convinced that Sakurai believes that Ridley is too big (prominent) to only have one role in the game.

I really hate how detractors tend to be more insulting and mean to Ridley fans than Ridley fans are to detractors.

I've only seen one supporter get aggressive to someone when they said he's too big to be playable. Every other supporter I've seen in arguments have remained calm and presented their evidence on why they think Ridley will be playable and they usually get attacked for it.

I've seen countless anti-Ridley people get way more mean and downright dirty with their insults.

I hate how they paint all Ridley fans as insane delusional idiots. That is why I really hope that he is a character because it would be tremendously funny to see them get shut up. It would be sweet delicious justice.
