I feel like Ridley could be a very unique character, and could have the ability to fly without limits.

But that would be too broken!!1

I'd kinda be fine with it though if the altitude/distance in which Ridley can infinitely fly isn't much farther than anyone else is able to double/triple jump (if at all). Sure it'd make him a big target, but his usual aerial speed would more than make up for it for me.

Learning more toward some kind of time/meter system for the flight though.

There could also be items that allow hovering.

Hee, now I want to see Ridley wearing the Pilotwings Belt, having it fit awkwardly, and him blasting all over the place. Sketch, please!

I still want to see him with that one umbrella item from Melee.

Honestly, it might seem weird, but I am looking forward to the anniversary of the Pyrosphere stage reveal. For some arbitrary reason, I believe it holds merit.

I'm actually really curious about what kind of video Shokio will make about it when he's revealed
I'm guessing he'll say something like, "I said Ridley wouldn't be in, but i never said anything about other m Ridley!" or some other excuse, or he'll just freak out and quite the internet

I actually never contemplated how hilarious Ridley would be in the game with items such as the hammer, baseball bat, Franklin badge, fire flower, star rod, or super scope. Or the rocket belt. It only makes me want him even more.

How amazing it would be if Sakurai made an event where you have to fight a large Ridley and the name of the event was "Old memories" (referencing his boss times).
Or an event that consists in a Free-For-All between 4 Ridleys and only Super Mushrooms drop as ítems and it's called "They're too big!"

I have a question about the shadow.

This is a lot of what we established, correct? (not counting accurate sizings or anything, I just threw all of this together quickly).

Light source comes from top-left (lava area) and so on.

That's fine I guess. Although personally I will never say I am 100% sure something will happen, because if said thing doesn't happen that's an easy target to attack and laugh at. I don't like being a target. I'm 95% sure he's in, but I'm keeping the possibility of him not being in open. All evidence is pointing to Ridley's inclusion...but like I said. I need to stay open to the possibility of it not happening.

Understandable. I enjoy playing a game of risks and rewards, if I am correct, I am praised. If I am incorrect, I am taunted. My success rate is much higher than my fail rate, so I am not deterred from asserting my adamant beliefs.

"I was wrong" threads are only applicable to characters that are fortunate enough to be included (as a sub-forum pertaining to their character is created). So do not fret, none of use would be forced to go there as it would not exist.

Its the normal one, as the texture work of the floor matches the larger stage.

It depends, I am not a fan of "damn good" boss battles during my match. I would probably not visit the stage as much if he was over-encumbering.

The only thing that would stop me from ever supporting him in the future is if Nintendo went out and said "We're not making any more Metroid games. The franchise itself is too obscure, and nobody cares about anything on there outside of Samus."

Nintendo will slightly change the title and announce Metroid is Dead in the next Direct.

Jokes aside, I will stop supporting Ridley if he isn't playable in Smash 4. If he isn't playable now, chances are that he never will.

i rewatched the ridley shadow and nintendo direct clip of pyrosphere FD. i noticed in the ridley shadow that theres lava dots trailing up (i guess you can call it embers floating upward) in the Pyrosphere FD there is no lava, and no embers floating up :/
Edit: theres a picture of the FD pyrosphere with lava. so throw this comment right out the window then XD
