While I do often post sarcastic things, I assure you I was being entirely serious, and your incredulous reaction only helps my point. Just as you said, no matter how much fans wanted it, if it isn't in line with the franchise, it will never happen. That means the argument you used to support DLC - that the fans would want it, doesn't work. I would argue that DLC isn't in line with the franchise either - or at least Sakurai's vision of it.

Just because you don't respect the fans that want non Nintendo related characters doesn't mean that they aren't fans, and it doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of them. I'm not trying to compare the people who want non Nintendo characters and the people who want DLC other than the fact that there are probably similar amounts, if not less people who are loud about DLC. You have a big mis-understanding of the numbers here, impossible characters would often get to the top of the popularity charts if they were allowed. Why do you think Ichigo, Goku, and Naruto are in Super Smash Flash? Huge popularity.

Because people wanted a game where all was possible while keeping the smash concept, of course some of us probably have fan dreams of non IP characters getting into the game but they're just dreams. We have reason and logic to decide a nintendo character. If you want to look at it double logically you would have to wonder how much said non ip character would be for purchase by nintendo from well I dono EA! BIOWARE! ARCHIE COMICS!!

You say we have reason and logic, but the argument I was trying to make is that the only reason and logic you were using for DLC is that fans would want it. As I've clearly demonstrated over the last few posts, fans wanting something doesn't necessarily mean anything. That means it isn't a logical argument, so you can't use it to support there being DLC. Which means we have no reason whatsoever to believe there will be DLC.

Notice: Ridley has not been disconfirmed like ANY of these characters.
Well, he was teased under the stage boss segment, ignoring all the analyzing we've done that's some pretty damn strong evidence. I still feel like it's a bit silly being sure one way or the other, it can go either way, it depends on how reliable our analyzises are. For all we know he could be teasing a playable boss mode, even if I highly doubt that, but anything is possible. I still find him more likely than not, but it's not that smart to close out the possibility.
