I find it kind of funny how people mistake Andrea for a dude.

Considering that, you know, "Andrea" is usually a girl's name (except in Italy apparently, although she isn't even Italian)...

Gamescom is 13/08/2014 - 17/08/2014, so if there's no Nintendo Direct in the week of 04/08 - 10/08, then it could be during Gamescom week.

Hopefully one of those weeks will be Ridley's time for reveal (as playable).

Only, you know, significantly less alien-y.

Changing the subject (THANK GOD), I think it's been established that Ridley should be grappler type character (one that is very good with grabs). What if Ridley has a zair that can also grab in the air (only grab, he'd have to land first before throwing someone)? That way, he has space for a different forward special.

@ SchAlternate SchAlternate I was thinking that since every other newcomer seems to have a mechanic that is unique to them that maybe Ridley's would be that he could literally grab out of the air (as he appeared (to some) to do to Pikachu in the Smash Direct Footage). I feel then that Ridley's Zair (as you mentioned) would literally be an air-grab, with Ridley either being able to carry the opponent off or throw them in all 4 directions or something.

I suppose that could work I wonder what is side B would be instead though? Maybe when he does his zair, he does is old school ridley grab like with his feet that would be cool and you can't block it on ground since its a grab.
