Date: January 24, 2009
Organizer(s): Rina-chan, Princess Aura
As many of you know, Aura, Infernohit, Dai, Synth, and Rina-Chan recently moved into a new home, which will hopefully become sort of a central place for smashfests and other gatherings within the community. In order to raise money for our home, we are holding sort of a fundraising tournament.
DATE: SATURDAY, JANUARY 24
TIME: Doubles Tourney begins at 12:00 PM SHARP. Singles begins during doubles finals. Venue opens at 10:00 AM for friendlies/setup. Please plan to come early because of traffic and other delays.
PRICE: Doubles - $12 per team ($8 pot, $4 venue)
Singles - $8 per person ($4 pot, $4 venue)
Get half off venue fee if you bring a FULL SETUP - tv + wii - OR tables + chairs!
Please understand the reason for the high venue fee despite being in a house---even though you are paying a little extra it will benefit you because you get to attend an awesome tourney AND it contributes to us providing a place for everyone to hang out a lot this coming year! We will be having quite a few smashfests at our place but we need a little help to make it happen! The fee is also to cover electricity usage as we have to pay for all our own utilities and tournaments use a lot icon_razz
See venue section for venue info. icon_smile
