Since it appears that DMoogle edited Zensei's post because of this, I guess there's actually a point now in pointing out that Maryland is missing from the regions list, considering that Zensei didn't listen to me. Oh, and we can't forget Washington D.C.

EDIT: Also Arizona is listed twice in the "West" section.

I live in Northern VA, about 30 minutes from DC if you drive. I'd be down for some console play. I'm also right by the Vienna/Fairfax metro station, so if you want to take the metro here I can pick you up.

Any New England Tournies?

Today I stumbled onto this website, I myself am good but I'd like to play others to see exactly how good. I play on the 64, so please don't tell me about emulator tournies. I'd like to know if there are any in the new england area since I'm from Rhode Island. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You really should just try project 64k. It's a simple emulator. The netplay is very easy to use, you can get a match going really easily. Of course you will need a controller (keyboard can be used, though it's not too practical), I use a wired XBox 360 controller, and I actually prefer it over playing on the console with any of my 4 N64 controllers (since the joysticks on them are worn out). If you already have some wireless xbox controllers you can find an adapter for them for USB. You can map out the buttons on the emulator options, under controller plugin.

I can't give you a link to a rom.

To use the netplay, open the emulator and go to file, start netplay. Enter in a nickname, and switch your connection from Good to Excellent. Then in the servers list, find "The Galaxy". Then you can create a game or join waiting friendly matches, There's a little chat box to talk to people your playing. It's a lot of fun, and usually fairly lag-less.

As for console tournaments, they're quite rare, as most people play Melee or Brawl instead.
