Yeah... that'd be pretty dumb xD Imagine Pichu/Pikachu in there... ****.

We have blender at my school...

To give you an idea of our skill level in Aus, hmm... Our top players are probably just under Blunted_Object's skill level.

Have you used blender? or do you just have it on the computers?

No one would blame you, Pichu and all :p

Best way to beat that "tactic" (if you can call it that) is just getting close to the Marth, shielding, and then punishing out of shield.

I know I say this to everything, but Agility solves all problems. Agility Dash out of shield to get behind him, then combo.

My control scheme makes Agility techniques really easy :p

And yeah, when you have a REALLY agile character like Pichu, it's easy to forget the fundamentals of defense.

I just thought of a tip for Pichu's, something I've been doing recently, try and copy Axe's Pikachu spacing. There are LOTS of similarities between how the two characters use moves like nair and uair...

Don't forget about his bair.

I had some pretty bad matches with Pichu, it wasn't pretty. Not at all, I even go beat by the most noobish style of game play every.

Marth, Final Destination, Walk, F-smash. I lost.
I was so embarrassed.
loled @ that :D

I'm telling you guys, bair is the key...

I'M BACK :D

1. Pika has lotsa lag, but i still love him because Uair spikes are hilarious.
2. Pichu's bair is sexier. I never use Pika's, as Grimmy said, it has waaay too much lag.
3. Pikachu forums are fun because those guys are pretty cool :p

and yea... thats it.

Oh, but i also have trouble with the n00by play... i actually started to counter it by choosing the same character as the n00b and playing as a better version of their n00byness (i.e. when i play Marth f-smash spammers i go marth and just space better than them unless they are actually a decent player)
I wish i could just beat them with Pichu though :(

also for SHing, like i said before, its easy to learn if you do this:
go to training mode and put i in x2 speed and try to SH for about 15 minutes. then try it in regular speed. after doing this for like, a week at the most, you should be able to SH better.

I used to be that way, i could only sh with control stick, but the y button is just the best method imo. its much easier while running than control stick and once you get used to it, it feels much better, but i guess you're so used to control stick by now that there is no real point in switching.

actually when i play fox or falco i usually jump cancel shines using the stick. its faster imo... i can just slide my finger from down to up faster than hitting x or y out of shine (i still jc with y allot though)

As an EX: Falco main, i will say that's a bad thing imo, well unless your using the C-stick for Aerials then never mind.

Anyway, i've been once again re-inspired to play with pichu, I just wish i had someone to play more often, not knowing people who play melee is horrible.

Also Grim, come on man your hold back on us Mr. Most Technical Pichu, i come here to learn and your not teaching.

I wish I could teach ****, but I need videossssssssss :c

Let me think of a random tip... Alright: Use Pichu's full-hop and double jump to bait the opponent like how Foxes and (mainly) Falcos do.

I see a lot of Pichus who only SHFFL around the place, but he does have other options. If you are standing on a platform against a spacey, for example, it is safe to jump up and down to try and bait them into doing something, and then follow up with a FF aerial (nair or bair most of the time) or you can Agility back down to the ground to catch them off-guard.

lol I only post semi-useless stuff :p
most of which is when i'm talking to people.

also, chaingrabbingtipspl0x? I have trouble doing the up throw chain grab on people for more than a few throws. I can do it pretty easily with Pika, i just have trouble doing it as pichu.
