Actually, everyone is a TA member, they just haven't unlocked their inner potential yet.
So "how many people are in TA?" and "how many humans have ever existed in total over the last ~6000 years?" is the same question.

Haha, domokun are pretty freaky. I still can't believe they're the mascot/logo or whatever for a japanese tv network. I can't imagine young children watching it and not being scared.
