Since when was a PR like this not shady?

Edit: And it's not like I don't have results, I just don't post them. Because I don't care about PRs. I always ask not to be put on these things and then I'm listed as #2 right under flavor of the month. Leave me off - please.
i dont understand how it can be shady...

no one is posting tourny results so location/placings mean nothing. its all about who you beat and who you lost you. this is how every region does their prs and its pretty simple once its all out there to see who has the best wins/losses...

Our PR in Arizona consists of wins/losses, Activity, and over all placings. which is how prs should be.

Placings shouldn't matter as much as who you beat, but it should have some impact. It just shouldn't be a huge impact, because I know my friend outplaced me once by not even showing up but still being in the bracket because he told me he was gonna be there, and he got byes while I got 2 good players right off the bat with no byes. Plus easy brackets skew stuff, but I guess placing well is still something to mention.

its a number
it makes absolutely no sense to make any impact
if you placed higher than u should depending on who u beat and lost to, its the TOs fault
if you placed lower than u should depending on who u beat and lost to, its the TOs fault

Harder regions placings matter less

Placings really don't mean anything

The only thing that matters is who you beat and if you placed in the money.

Wins

Loki (mid tier tourney) (2-0) - Falcon (all ROB)
Asataw (2-0) - DK (Diddy game 1, ROB game 2)
Radium88 (2-0) - Kirby (IC's game 1, ROB game 2)
Smada (mid tier tourney) (2-0) - Lucas (all ROB)
Steep (2-0) - Mario (ROB game 1, Dedede game 2, I'm pretty sure)
Onaga (2-0) - Diddy - (ROB game 1, Dedede round 2)
DLA (2-0) - Ganon (all ROB)
Mike (2-0) - Dedede - (all ROB)
Koose (2-0) - Marth - (ROB game 1, Dedede round 2)
Spongejordan (2-1) - MK - (Dedede round 1 and 3, lost game 2 as ROB on Brinstar) (does this count?)

Losses

Kirk (mid tier tourney) (0-2) - Ike (all ROB)
Tetsion (0-2) - Pit (Fox game 1, ROB game 2)
Lain (1-2) - Ice Climbers (beat his MK game 2) (all ROB)
Scythe (1-2) - Mario - (lost with ROB 1 and 3, won with Dedede round 2)
Inui (0-2) - MK (Lost game 1 as Dedede, lost game 2 as ROB)
Legan (1-2) - MK/Marth/Diddy (went ROB only for Diddy and lost, Dedede the first 2)
Akashi x2 (0-2 as MK/D3) (1-2 as Snake) - Once as MK/Dedede, once as Snake (all ROB except game 2 against his Snake was Dedede)
Fade (0-2) - Pit (all ROB)
Kennispam (1-2) - Sheik/MK (lost with ROB game 1, Dedede games 2 and 3)
Y.b.M. (0-2) - (mid tier tourney) - ZSS (all ROB)
Th3 Composer (mid tier tourney) (1-2) - Samus/Kirby (all ROB)
Crash (0-2) - Luigi (lost game 1 as ROB, lost game 2 as Dedede)
Fwog (1-2) - Diddy (all ROB)

Clearly, my losses outweigh my wins, but a lot of the loses were legit, so yeah. I'm actually starting to place better in my region too, I know that doesn't count for much, but yeah, I guess expect more from me in the future when we get more tournaments around here, only a few of these were from locals. Also, I'm starting to use ROB a lot more now, so hopefully I'll have more results to post eventually.

Sorry for this being so disorganized. :/

All midwest people, lol. You don't know who DLA is though? He's the best placing Ganon in the country. But yeah, my wins aren't all that impressive, I know. I bolded the more important ones, I just listed what I've done with ROB this past season.

Yes pretty much. This is because of 2 reasons.

  1. My scene died in july and we just had our revival tourney november 6th
  2. I could easily use ROB against non notables but would that really matter?

I thought Verm was the new Ganon on the block over there? Oh well, I'm sure there's someone here who's heard of DLA, hopefully...
I know of DLA.

I know plenty of the people on Zwarms list, just cause I'm MW though.

Thanks for keeping discussion going Allied/TeeVee, and friends. I've got alot of shiz on my plate right now and can't be active until next week when the bulk of my finals are done, then I'm practically on break so this can get updated.

TinMan: Panelists are listed in the OP.

and am I like the only ROB whose beaten Will in a MM? For real?? It was at Apex.

The full story of me vs. Will was two $1 MM's, he won the first then I won the second (2-0). We got a crowd and had a good chunk of hype.

Not nearly the weight that bracket carries, but I knew I could go even with him.

isnt he #7 because of mk? lol
Sorta, he still used Ganon in tournament, he was just using MK more at the time. He's back to all Ganon with a little Pikachu on the side now. He's pretty much completely dropped his MK.

DLA's ganon, mk, and pikachu are all equally as good, imo.
I agree with this, although I only have trouble with his MK because ROB's good against the other 2.

Also, is there a certain amount of money necessary for MM's to count? I know we have a $5 minimum in IL, so I didn't list any of my MM's because they were only $1. If for some reason $1 counts, I have a few notable wins then, haha.
