The only thing i know that will break fishing chains is reeling a pokemon too late or too early, moving or not getting a nibble. closing your 3ds shouldn't effect either of them since the game is still on.. @ IsmaR i remember reading on here that you have iron fist timburr. Can you breed me one? I have a friend that wanted one but i don't have one..

Idk I'll have to ask him when he gets off.. i only know of two egg moves (mach punch, and drain punch) and i have a timburr with those two moves..

Mine all have those, as well. Plus Detect and either Focus Punch or Counter. The ones with elemental punches can just be your personal one since those moves won't breed down anyway.

In case you planned on using Iron Fist Conkeldurr for a Trick Room team, you could always utilize Hammer Arm for it, as an Iron Fist boosted Hammer Arm packs as much power as Superpower, and any speed drops that it causes would help it even further.

It gets it by a prior evolution. Both torchic and combusken get it

For some reason, I can never connect to special ranked battles, so I put in my shout out to ask for VGC battles. People are usually doing double battles normal rules, or single battles instead. Only one person out of about ten did double flat rules, but they had non Kalos Pokemon.

I should have worded that differently. I meant that I can connect to it, but it will also tell me that an opposing trainer could not be found.

Ggs BaPr i was going to accept that battle request the first time but when i went to change 2 of the vgc banned pokemon i had in my triples team you had gone offline.. i had a feeling you were going to quick guard that first turn.. i was going to have charizard use ancient power but unfortunately it doesn't have 31 ivs in speed (might have to fix that..) didn't anticipate mamoswine having a scarf so i thought I'd have venasaur put in a subs while it was under the sun.. the two i had to take out were lopunny and beehyeem

I forgot that lopunny was not a kalos pokemon. I'm glad your Charizard didn't use ancient power on the off chance it gets the stat boost. Scarf mamoswine didn't seem that uncommon to me, since every mamoswine I went against in VGC was scarfed. Were you running Modest or timid on your Charizard?

I like your ally switch technique. That's something that can work very well for you when used right. My scarfed mamo is usually meant for taking care of dragons so I can set up and sweep with charizard. The fact that it is mega charizard X helps a lot since I get a lot of electric attacks which don't do much (it messes me up though when I get paralyzed because of it).

I have two ally switch users for my triples team. I usually place charizard on one of the sides and will use it to try and catch them off guard or to keep it out of harms way (since ally switch moves the pokemon at the corners). Would have been better if loppuny wasn't banned in vgc since it does have fling and a king's rock with max speed. (172)

I guess that could explain how my Garchomp outsped your Charizard the other day. Of course, while my Garchomp had a perfect speed IV, my EV investment for it did not max out its speed.

236 Speed EVs. This is why I've mentioned that the EV spreads that my Pokemon use do not follow the competitive standards, as I don't play competitively anyway; all of my online battles are free battles when facing random players.

My score in special battles is almost balanced. I have 19 wins and 17 losses. I'm tired of when players DC before they lose. There are so many good battles I would have if they at least forfeit instead.

I took out 4 of this person's pokemon without losing one of mine then they dc'd on me. I'm around 16-17 in triples i hit a bit of a losing streak when i was battling today.. I'm starting a new team since i finished breeding for a friend ftm..

I should make a triples team. There are so many strategies that can't work well in singles or doubles that do in triples. I'm probably gonna use mega Blaziken since it is my favorite mega. I've also had a major losing streak when the people I connect with have like 100 points more than me. I only won once in that situation.

For nature adamant, female, and just drain punch and mach punch, no tutor moves, and don't worry about the ivs i can work on them..

GG's ZM. I hate when I over think too. Never make the right prediction. That mega completely threw me off guard. So does your Magnezone whenever you send it in and it has a different name . I as gonna use quick guard, but seeing that Aegislash can't be affected, I thought it would be a waste of a turn if I chose it. In stance form, I was surprised that my Aegislash took so little damage from a super effective move.

It wouldn't matter if there was a ghost type on the field. If it effects one of the pokemon I'd use it. I wasn't surprised fling did that much no stab and still pretty weak. Hawlucha does have 135 atk. The "Banette" was named to confuse other players back when i used an actual Banette. Yeah there's only two of the same pokemon i made three copies of. Two charizard X's and one Y. The other being klefki. The shiny zard however i found in a friend safari and just so happened to have jolly as its nature and iirc max speed
