The entire goal of my Electrode was to outspeed/annoy MManectric with Substitute (stall out its Overheats) and Soundproof (which blocks Snarl).

Electro Ball is basically like reverse Gyro Ball, where the faster you are, the more damage it does. Useful (moreso on Electrode due to being the 5th fastest non-Mega evo), but most of its checks/counters will be fast already (as Club stated, Scarf'd Garchomp, Volt Absorb Jolteon/Thundurus, Mega Alakazam/Aerodactyl (who are both faster), etc., so Thunderbolt/Volt Switch are better options for being consistent.

speaking of electric types i just hatched a 5 iv Tynamo that I'm starting to ev train, also have a 3 iv (atk, def, sp atk) one that has outstanding potential if anyone wants it.. one of those 31 iv stats is being hindered though...

I literally just finished EV training a Modest/3V one. I still have my perfect/Adamant one in White 2, so I'm good.

Mega Manectric has become my favourite Mega. Even though some people think he looks silly, I think he's pretty badass.

I actually like MManectric's design very much. Though his size is a bit underwhelming. If he got as big as Arcanine while still following it's own anatomy I would guarantee he would be used more often just because of aesthetics.

As for base power gain on Electro Ball: Percentage is the foe's speed compared to yours
> 50% = 60
50% - 34% = 80
33% - 25% = 120
< 25% = 150

The other thing I've been thinking about is the potential to break the damage record. Currently Shuckle holds this, but I was thinking, it might be possible for a Modest 252 SpAtk Aurorus @ Metronome using Echoed Voice at +6 until it reaches max damage, then hitting something like -6 Rash 0 SpDef lv 1 Taillow, Gible or Gligar. It's probably a long shot since Shuckle's stats are so high, but hey... might be possible. XD

Even with +6 Calm Mind boosts, seems doubtful.

On another note, I snagged both an extra Cresselia (for my other spare Yveltal), Virizion (for my first Cresselia), and Zekrom (for...an Ursaring ) last night. Just started cycling the Zekrom for other legendaries, so I have Reshiram now/seeking Palkia. No luck with Lati@s, as it seems all people want for that are the event/unGTS-able legendaries (Keldeo/Meloetta/Genesect) or one of the big 3 (Mew, Deoxys and apparently Victini, who are all very hard to get without event ribbons).

I traded it already, sadly. Once I'm done cycling (and out of class), I can probably just get another one to trade around here. Same is true for pretty much every non-event legendary.

Just got Giratina, btw. Huh...It's got the HA, and is at Lv. 5. Might hold onto this one, and just trade my other Cresselia.

There's a girl in Snowbelle City that gives you the DNA Splicers for Kyurem, IIRC.

I think it's in Kiloude actually. The one in Snowbelle should be the Secret Sword/Relic Song teacher.

EDIT: So I'm back to breeding Charmander's and I've noticed I haven't gotten a shiny yet. Compared to the other ones I've gotten so easily it seems that the breeding ratio may be different for each Pokemon this generation.

This is just a marginally studied theory however. Charmander took me 4 days to get a shiny. 5 different shinies were obtained within a few minutes to an hour and breeding Charmander again is already taking me into another day.

I'm over 360 eggs back in it.

I made a new team, focusing on Trick/Switcheroo. Found success against Japanese players but lost nearly every game against non-Japanese...

Although my team sucked, Switcheroo-ing a Choice Scarf from a Cursed Body, Disable Froslass is lolzy.

Pass. I don't care for Darkrai much, and even then, my shiny Kyurem needs to be transferred by Pokebank.

Have hit a bit of a wall since I did some stupid trades (got an Articuno for a trade chain, wound up being too late. Did however manage to get another for a Gallade, so I at least have some back-up fodder), but did manage to get a 6V Timid Virizion, so it's not all bad.

Also need to evolve a Porygon, but only have a Dubious Disc.

I've encountered shinies in every possible way but chain fishing (can't be bothered to carry Suction Cups). I've even found a shiny bug Pokemon while watering my berry garden. And I just got a shiny from the GTS (as in I left something in the GTS, asked for something non-specific, and got a shiny in return).

It was a Rayquaza, btw. All I'm missing now are Latias and Raikou, then I'll be completely done. I'm out of spare legendaries (keeping all the ones I have now as they are all 6 IV/perfect), so might take me a while. I'll actually retract my previous statement, and ask if you could let me see/trade back your Latias, Club. If anyone has a Raikou, I'd be really grateful if they'd loan me it as well. All I have at the moment are Virizion, Kyurem, and Rayquaza (shiny/likely hacked).

If anyone wants some tips I usually start off with a Focus Sash setter as a lead, Cloyster's good, and see how far it goes. If I get haxed or a bad match up I usually have Zard X or Scarfed Salamence to finish the job.

EDIT: Don't you hate when people AFK on you during a battle while you're winning in an attempt to make you forfeit? I sure do. Dude was using Ubers on my NU team and did that to me because I was winning 6 to 2.
