In the Lurch
Have you heard the tales of the house on the hill?
Where the children would play and live just for today
And where was that moment of truth?
Possibly in the silence of an innocent smile
Or when days and inches seemed like years and miles
They climbed up the walnut, the oak, and the birch
No child left behind, not a soul in the lurch
Have your heard the tales of the house on the hill?
I've heard unpleasant things of what tomorrow brings
But what of the moment today?
Was it lost in the shrills of the fear and the fright
That split corridors up between black and white
Flee to the walnut, the oak, and the birch
The house stood divided soon left in the lurch
Have you heard the tales of the house on the hill?
Where the floors would creak, and the porcelain leak
Yet where did the water all go?
Possibly through the boards that would creak in the night
Or the freshly cut grass of which soils took delight
Did it nurture the walnut, the oak, and the birch?
How could such a place be left in the lurch?

Some say it divine in all its design

I actually spent the last two hours or so reading through all the old poems and stuff people posted in here years ago, no lies.
Your poem is shockingly relevant to a lot of things I'm going through right now. Plus I <333 evolving-by-stanza, full-continuity poems (lyrics?).

without water in my diet
My meals benign
The earth will shatter

is we ALL need a place to stand
Wind is the best its my favorite oh yes

I'll save us from the mods with something relevant to say. . . . . . .
So the reason why Roy is awesome is because you have to stay on the stage to edge-guard with him, he only has one good killing move, his knockback barely rivals a nerf product, and he's so damn handsome.
Plus, you can do shffl-uair, poke, utilt, utilt, jab, f-smash on sheik.
I just realized how hilarious and defeating of this posts purpose was upon beginning it with "so the reason why Roy is awesome. . . "
That needs to be a thread name
