I think they may have been hit with a Jiggly Puff Sing, or something similar, and Sakurai has placed them next to Resseti as a "Bored them to sleep" joke.

Or...he may...littarly bore the characters to sleep.
Death would be better though!

There's still hope for a Animal Crossing character... hell, it could be this Friday. You never know. Animal Crossing is one of the more peaceful and relaxed Nintendo games... so a character from that series may not look exactly right 'smashing' away at other characters. As an assist trophy... could be just the ticket.

Just my opinion. Sakurai is one tricky *******. Gotta love 'im!

Mr. Resetti was irritating in Animal Crossing, because I always had to wait for him to stop lecturing to start playing, but this way, I can just ignore him, and keep fighting.
