The Official OMG Tonight Prediction Thread

I haven't done a 5-day forecast in forever, so...

This week I can totally see; 2 character profiles, a Final Smash, an item, a stage and perhaps another Subspace update.

That's six updates, of course, but I foresee one being a double update (perhaps the item and Final Smash).

As for tonight... I'm personally hoping for a profile. I still have a sour taste in my mouth from Meta Knight being the only one worth talking about for ... what feels like three weeks, but I think it's only been two.

Sorry. I know this is the wrong thread for this sort of talk, but I don't really agree with that statement. I feel that Halo 3 is going to outstrip just about any other game when it comes to unit sales for at least a few months. However, I feel that Brawl is going to be an amazing game regardless and probably better than Halo 3 in its own way (Lord knows I still hold Melee in high esteem, moreso than what I could ever hold Halo---and Halo is really high up on my "favorites" list).

As for my prediction tonight? I'm gonna go with a "classic" Smooth Criminal guess:

Halo 3 will most definitely do better than Brawl. Though, that doesn't mean Halo 3 will be a better game. It doesn't mean Brawl will be a better game, either. They're both very different games in very different genres - they really just can't compete.

Doesn't Halo 3 come out in just a few weeks or something? That'll probably cause Brawl to do drastically better during the holiday season anyway, which is probably when sales count the most.

I personally won't be able to play another console shooter after Prime 3 probably ever. Dual analog control just feels plain clunky and clumsy now.

Unfortunately, there are still a lot of graphic-hungry Xbox fanboys in the world (or just in America?). Halo 3's sales will do just fine.

I was gonna mention that, but I didn't feel like saying it. But you're right. It's stages like these that make me happy to see moving stages.

@blayde: I said if it's a stage, I hope it isn't one of those stages which I think are unlockable, therefore saying hopefully they are unlockable so he won't have to show them.

Nah dude I think the stage moves onto the halberd and thats when we fight on it....Its shown in one of the two trailers

Yes I think eventually you'll end up on the halberd and fight on it...take it easy....but I guess you cant really say you do or dont fight on it because we haven't even played the game right?

Most we've seen of the Halberd is shots of it flying around in the background; I'm sure there's more to it than that that we just haven't seen yet. They probably chose to show it like this so far to illustrate the depth of the stages and how it can render these things without lag.

Regardless, I hope that if we get a stage it's something brand new too.
