Alright, as I'm sure we've all seen, our uthrow can stagespike a few people on a few stages. This is gonna be where I post results I or T!Mmy or anyone else has found. First, in case you haven't seen this, here it is:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf6fhmS9Ytc

Alright, so we know this works vs lucario on PS1. T!Mmy also posted this on AiB:

t1mmy said:
To everyone:
I found out for myself that this also works on Spear Pillar and Frigate Orpheon. It works on all four edges of Spear Pillar, and only on one of the stage configurations for Frigate - the first one that you start on, under the platform on the left hand side (it won't work on the right hand side with the platform that goes up and down, nor on the pseudo-edge that is made when the platform leaves the stage).

Also, this works on ZSS except for on Spear Pillar.

I did all the above research myself. I doubt it's on Smashboards. XD

Edit:
I just checked this out on SWF and the only info was that it works on ZSS and that there's something weird about Shiek. The U-throw didn't work on Shiek when I tested it, but I'll go take another look at it and see what's odd about her.
In case you didn't want to read all of that, he says that this also works on every ledge on Spear Pillar and the first part of Frigate Orpheon and that this works on ZSS except on Spear Pillar. Here's a list of people we know this can be done to, listed both as Character Stage Stage and Stage Character Character. Feel free to PM me or anyone else researching this with me.

Search a character or stage's name in square brackets [] to find he/her/it/potato.

New!: All links are colored in Tan. If it's in the format (A:BC-D:EF) after part of a list, it means it's in approximately that time frame in the vid.

New!: All paranthetical text that says restrictions for Ninja Spiking or any odd occurrences when Ninja Spiked is colored in Sky Blue.

Potential Pokemon Stadium 1 Techinque

Snake can be NS'd on PS1 during the water part of the stage on the left side, the side with the windmill. The popular theory is that Kirby attempts to land on the windmill, but that it changes its angle while Kirby is touching it so that it no longer counts as ground, causing Kirby to slide off and fall below the stage, Ninja Spiking the opponent.

So far, Snake is the only character this is known to work on. Any help researching would be appreciated.

I guess I can test some stuff right now. Any stages you'd recommend before I pluck them at random?

Thanks "A1loin". Seriously. Why do people get your name wrong?
As of now, Jigglypuff, Lucas, Snake, and Sonic can't be stagespiked on PS1. Feel free to try it yourself, I didn't get any positive results.

It's a shame that we can't recognize some sort of pattern for who gets stagespiked...kirby's uthrow is supposse (lol blanking on how to spell it) to land onstage, but because of something weird, he instead lands slightly below the stage...maybe it's got something to do with unordinary hurtboxes? Like sheik, she's really bendy, ZSS is tall and skinny... does lucario's aura give him something weird in the hurtbox department? I dunno...

Well, after more testing, nobody but Lucario can be stage spiked on the right half of the character selection screen. It might be due to the character design, though. Let's just keep trying.

We already know about Skyland's uthrow stage spike, right?

I think we have everyone done for PS1. I'll test out Castle Siege now.

Nah, it's not so much of a stage spike as it is a "Bowsercide".
I'm talking about on the very edge how you can take both of you out.

I think it's interesting enough to mention.

I hope so. :(

Hey, can you test something out for me? I tried Sonic on Japes, and at just the right angle, he bounced to the top of the far right platform, and landed in the water. If we can replicate this at the right time, the klaptrap could get an easy kill.

Add color, pictures, and a joke of the day or something.

Did you test out the Japes theory?

It's hard to pull off, but it could be worth it. It's probably a once in a lifetime thing, though.

Okay, forst off, allow me to explain something about Uthrow that I'm not sure if you guys do or don't know:

The reason Kirby can do this weird stage spike thing at all is because he moves backwards a little when he does his Uthrow, while MK moves forward a little.

I'm guessing that due to the shape of the characters' hurtboxes, if part of their hurtbox is under the stage as the throw lands under the invisible floor, they get stage-spiked.

Also, it is possible to stage-spike every character on PS1 by using the windmill. It is incredibly hard to do, and I've only done it a few times by accident, but if you Uthrow so that when you land the windmill's blade is angled a certain way (hard to say for certain because I've only done this once or twice, but I think it was slightly up and left so that the opponent's bounce when they hit the blade goes down and left), it will spike them downwards and away from the stage on the left side.

I'm looking at this thread.

But I don't see anything worth looking at yet.

lol jk

I'm not really into Brawl anymore, what with soft-modding my Wii to play B+ and all
Same here, but these things will probably still work in b+ So it's nice to have a list :)

I'll test out Lylat myself.

That's a good point. Any time the stage shifts away from you (upwards) on Lylat this should work.

We already know these things, Mr. From Unda Mam. We're trying to use this to our advantage.

Oops, my bad then. Just trying to help.

Have you guys tested ROB at all though? His hurtbox is weirdly shaped, so it might work on him.

Lately, I've done one character at a time on every stage at every possible ledge. Which means I only finish maybe 1 character a day, I do have a real life and can't finish it all in one day.

ROB can wait.

And I love the Kirby boards, it has a unique blend of members.

I'm still busy trying to get my testing partner to show up to test IB FSs, so yeah...

It seems I can pull off the same thing with Sonic on Japes, dude.
You need to test these yourself to confirm it.

I will, I will.

Check out the new pretty colors on the OP!

Edit: also, on JJ, are these on the small platforms, the main platform, or both?
Edit 2: Sticky Pending!
Edit 3: T!Mmy says he tested everyone on PS1 (but he has a Japanese Wii, and it doesn't work on sheik in his, so I'm not sure how reliable his info is. Sowwy T!Mmy...)

It's still a good thread, it's worth keeping alive. ^^;
This can give you an easy stock lead.

You don't have to give it a sticky...
