The Meet and Greet matchups!
This will be a 1 versus 1 tourney, spawned from the New Members Fight Arena thread, the most successful in Meet and Greet. The official rules will be unorthodox from any other tournament, we allow more stages and options.
Two of us will run this tournament, that would be me, Straked, and Will, Cherry64.
The roster is full with all 16 positions being filled.
I assume you all saw Will's... unofficial thread here about the brackets.
But before we discuss matchups, let's get on with the rules!
Stages;
Neutrals/Counterpicks
Battlefield - Final Destination - Delfino Plaza - Pirate Ship - Frigate Orpheon
Yoshi's Island - Lylat Cruise - Smashville - Pictochat - Castle Siege - Both Pkmn Stadiums
All of the following stages may be used as neutrals.
Anything else is banned. Counterpicks are any of the following, whatever person is hosting, be sure to make the settings to allow the loser to pick the stage.
The first match must be played on one of the following.
Battlefield, Final Destination, Yoshi's Island, or Smashville.
The Breakdown;
This will be the best 3 out of 5, first to 3 wins the set, you play 1 set.
The finals will be no different.
The time will be set to 8:00, no stalling is allowed.
No items whatsoever.
For any questions regarding who you will be fighting, talk to Will.
CG's will be allowed, regarding Ice Climbers, Falco, Pikachu, and Dedede.
