There's a difference between not following the discussion and not reading the OPENING POST.

He can still win/lose via the time-out rule.

I'd go to a tourney as him... but... I don't want to lose...

What so you actively refuse to attack for 8 minutes just so they can't hit you? Isn't that considered "stalling" and therefore banned?
No that's called not getting hit because all you need to do on battle feild is jump over if he's grab and drop under for his buttles and everything esle misses. by that logic if I never hit anyone they should be banned becuase they wouldn't let me hit them. also why didn't HM try to hit them more? I think MH is the one who is camping they just simply can't approach.

For clarification: When using Master Hand on Corneria, he doesn't spawn properly, and instead of his usual place on stage, he goes down below the bottom blast zone. He will still home in on the opponent to do attacks, and if he lands a grab, it is a 1HKO.

Master Hand being down there is definitely stalling.

HOWEVER, the official ruleset defines stalling as the act of DELIBERATELY avoiding contact. By simply stating that you aren't attempting to stall him out, it is simply a quirk of the character, it is NOT bannable under such an offense.

If I were a TO i'd ban Corneria specifically for Master Hand. One slip-up in 8 minutes costing you a game is far worse than anything else that's banned in tournaments

@ GrimTuesday We have historically speaking always banned stages that made a character broken. For some examples see how many times fox is the main reason for banning a stage in this post. We instead of banning fox banned the stages that made fox broken.

you can pick MH on all stages but take him to a stage like BF and hit him once and stand on the platform he can't hit you without but grabs and bullets.

Once you figure out how high his attacks will let him hit you simply just have to walk over and jump. And most stages he homes onto dumb things.

the only chance you have of winning is on YS/brinstar/RR because they don't know the stage/or it's to small to super easily run away.
