Although I would certainly like to, if I continue not making it to enough tournaments, my opinion's value will be diminished. As such, I will politely decline at this time until I can either attend a larger number of IL tournaments or improve to an extent where I would be a notable player. I'll have to send that PM when I feel as though I would become a greater asset to the panel by fulfilling one of those goals. In general, I think we've been trying to be considerate about Southern IL and I've asked several times in the past if anyone reliable was willing to rep Southern/Central IL in the panel. I'll ask again this time. Anyone?!?!
I'm looking at you, Oranos, since you seem to actually care about relations between Chicago and "Not-Chicago" instead of just calling bias. (PM me if you're interested ) We're totally open to communication, but it's just that the actual communicating seems to be the issue at hand here.
Yeah, we're going to begin organizing it when the semester ends. Dunno if we're doing Melee & Brawl or just Brawl or what yet, depends on the date I guess (hopefully both again).Host a Springfiled tourny this summer then guys, I'm sure a lot of Chicago will come down
Yeah, I should be going to either DB3 with Surjan (maybe Chewyy? I still owe him a driving trip) Also, the reason I mentioned the note about the number of tournaments attended requirement was because it says "The Inactive list will be used for people who were on the top 10 last time, but have not attended more than 2 tournaments for the current season." That kinda bothered me because it required attendance for at least half of the tournaments for this update, which seemed kinda harsh for some folks. (I was under the impression it was "at least 2", before I looked yesterday)@Oranos - we changed the current criteria to only two tournies like a couple of seasons ago to help out the non-Chicago people a little more.
But yeah it kinda does suck that our state is so split. But you guys should really come to a Chicago tourney at least once this summer. You guys won't regret it. The venue Kirk got a hold of for the Don't Blink tournies is amazing. Huge venue, tons of setups, free parking, and free arcade games all for $5!
If I don't make it to DB3, I'll probably be at the M.A.S. the next week, because it might be easier to get a group together on that weekend.
awesome!sorry for double post but I just noticed Akashi made this list:

Illinois now has 5 players on there. ****!
Is your PM box full? I will facepalm.I got no PM or any notification of discussion.
if chicago wants to discuss, they should make sure to invite people who are on the panel
thanks chewyy, but I made a note above about thisI second this. Oranos knows his stuff!
