Sharky Notes
note on Super Hard Characters: ZSS has a three frame window to grab, Falco has a two frame window to grab.
note the second: Ness, while he cannot be cg'd, can be upsmashed or upaired out of a grab release.
Note the third: DK can just barely avoid the CG with his spinning kong (up-b). However, you can always hit him with an upsmash. I personally like to mix in chaingrabs and upsmashes to keep him on his toes.

Zero Suit Samus' CG CANNOT be buffered, which is why she is at the bottom of the list rather than Falco.


The characters that can be easily UpSmashed after the release are:

-MetaKnight
-Ganondorf
-Popo
-Squirtle
-Lucas
-Wario
-Ness (NOT CG-ABLE, ONLY UPSMASH)
-Donkey Kong (same as Ness)


Wario and Ness can also be uair'd after release.


Off Stage Release Options

Characters that can be hit with a fair on release:

-Squirtle
-Sheik

All Spacies (fox wolf falco) can be egglayed from release just by dashing off.

Idk about you guys...but Lebron James is looking more like Scottie Pippen then MJ next to Dwayne Wade. LOOOOOOL. Sucks when your so hyped up and keep underperforming so bad

Just can't get over the fact that the bulls lost against the heat in east finals, can you?

Bulls had a great run this season. They just lack more fire power on scoring then the heat.

I won't be shock to see a bulls & heat east finals rematch next year.

Kenni the only reason you talk about anime in this thread is to troll. If you actually gave a **** about what other people think of your animes, you'd post in the anime thread, which I'm sure this site has somewhere.

The reason WI melee players are pricks to you is because you're annoying... and the reason half of the sheik thread blocked you is because you're annoying. Which is a shame because I actually enjoy a lot of your non-anime posts (as opposed to two years ago when you were just flat out annoying).

So what do you guys think about the new smash that won't support Gc controllers?
I've believe this will hurt the brawl players for sure & the metagame will only weaken now.
All the advance techs, moves & that good shiz found by the Gc controller.

And just for that, brawl will last @ least ten more years now after smash 4 is out.
Melee will die imo, sorry melee players.

GGs nintendo. No cp'ing this one....

Around here, there are more Melee tournaments than Brawl tournaments, and they usually get about the same turnout. There are more Melee nationals and regionals than Brawl, and the game is more balanced than Brawl. I don't think Melee is dying off any time soon.

Also, to everyone who has hopes for Smash 4: Yeah, Sakurai made Melee. But he never intended for it to become competitive. NEVER. Wavedashing was a huge ---- up on the team's end that opened the doors to other game changing discoveries. He saw what happened with Melee. So he made Brawl with a new engine; an engine that you weren't able to wavedash, waveland, waveshine, dash dance (effectively), l-cancel manually, and lowered the hitstun so people wouldn't be stuck in combos. And how can we forget TRIPPING, the worst mechanic in a game ever made! What he did in Brawl was INTENTIONAL. What he did in Melee was a MISTAKE.

Now he's in charge of Smash 4. Wii U is being considered catered to more core gamers, but what in the hell makes any of you think he's going to return to Melee's roots? Or even attempt to go competitive for that matter? OR, make it a game any of us want? Why would he cater to US when he can cater to who is truly giving him the cash? Yes, kiddies. Casuals. They cough up the dough for him. Not us.

Melee is the greatest mistake ever made.
Cherish it. Because the days of a good new smash game hold a serious chance of being gone.
For good.

Because Brawl is a fun game that I enjoy playing.
Just like melee was, just like 64 was and just like the new one will be.

So chill out and enjoy the game for what it is, not for what it is competitively (or lack thereof), and if you don't enjoy Brawl, you don't have to spend your name talking about how much better other games are or how that's going to effect a new game (which is silly anyway, because it's not fair to assume that the next game in a series of games where you actually love one of the games will suck because you didn't like one of the others), then just let it be.
Or, have a wait-and-see attitude instead of some kind of weird activist attitude.

Also I didn't get the Indiana thing but did you like beat me at VaMP's or something? Because good stuff if you did!
But like seriously and not sarcastically. Illinois is really good at whatever smash bros game they play.

We only played in a doubles set but I had to carry my team because the person who I teamed with was tippering me when I was the only one around the area. I did bring it back against you guys and took it to game 3 where it was only you and me. Except I tried to get too fancy on FD and killed myself to end the set lol

Sothe, did you even read the interview with Sakurai? He said something along the lines of "I don't want to do another Brawl or Melee, maybe this one will be more similar to the original." Meaning hitstun. Sakurai realized Brawl was also a mistake, he started caring about appealing to more competitive players, and he knows what was wrong with Brawl, and will fix it. :metaknight:

But really, stop assuming and pulling random stuff out of your *** and calling it a solid argument. It doesn't work.
