Same here. I seen a few and liked them but I like watching animes from start to finish and I don't the time to get into that. Good thing I have Action B. to tell me what's going on if I want to know.

It's definitely an "epic" though, in terms of storytelling. It falls in the scenario of storylines on a grand scale
Plus you can skip all filler if you watch the anime. I was watching it as it came out so I had to deal with it

Tbh i had one piece on my hard drive for like half a year but was in the same situation. One day I was just really bored and was like meh **** it, ill give it a try. I'm glad I did though, I'm gonna try to finish this b4 school rolls around so this isn't too distracting. As far as anime goes, one piece definitely has the best plot. Thats a pretty bold statement considering if watched code geass and a bit of yu yu hukasho, detective conan(watched like 130 eps until I stopped it) and other stuff (I used to mostly just watch slice of life tho;lucky star, oreimo, k-on, etc, the ez 2 season anime types to start and finish) but for real, one piece is just ****ing incredible. to put it simply i finished the arabasta arc in 2 days and thats like 40-60 eps or something. It looks like a lot but you get so into it that the episodes just fly past you.

This... for me at least. Watching anime is like playing an RPG for me, with side quests representing the fillers for RPGs. I like completing RPGs in full and that goes for animes as well, regardless if the fillers are terribad or not.

I said for the other people. I started watching one piece when it was on ep 80 back in 2003 so I've watched them all cause I didn't have any options
Edit: luckily the one piece filler is usually good enough to watch. Not amazing but not terrible like Naruto or bleach filler

Yo if u guys want a short and sweet anime that manages to become pretty damn epic in its short span, watch Soul Eater. I think it's like 30-35 episodes long. Easily one of my favorites despite it being over so quickly.
The manga is considerably longer if you care enough but then again, **** manga lol.
