Wow I've been working on the Sunday after tournaments for years (literally years lol), sometimes way earlier then 12 (try 6 or 7 in the morning) and im sure others have had it worse.

THere's 3 diff types of places. 1 gaming 1 weird one and 1 that i'm 90% sure should be guaranteed to work...

Price matters as well though. Cuz we'll have to raise the venue fee in accordance to predicted attendance.

Say venue was 140 bucks.

And we got about 25 confirmed. we'd have to do something like 6 bucks a person and add the leftover to the pot or do 5 bucks a person and pay the last 15 out of pocket. We also have to find out how much room there is. And then check if there's parking. OH and availability. They could all be perfect but not available till come to papa 3 =/

Like...i had a great place for it in the student union. But there's literally no way to park w/o paying money. So then ppl have to pay venue/door fee(same thing) tourney fees, and a parking fee. So obviously i scratched that.

What does it take to set up a tourney at your average venue anyways? How much money?

Depends on the venue. ZP is 4-5$ per person. Other places have flat fees and some have no fees.
