Dude, I Like Mother but get real, 3 Represenitives for ONE Game in the series for kicking out an Original12 with a series that will be lucky to get two represenitives? It won't happen, Probably not, Well this means that claus only has competition down to how many MOTHER Reps there are (WOOT.).

Ones upon a time, there was a kid named Ness, that appeared in smash, and he was given the opportunity to add a friend to the smash roster; he was going to choose either Poo and Jefff (Paula was killed back in 1999, apparently her brain was taken out via psychic powers, and her PSI was nowhere to be found).
But suddely, Lucas came in and took Ness out of the spotlight, and with him, his Earthbound friends. The second representative from Mother was going to be one of Lucas friends, and it was between Kumatora, Duster and Claus, but Kumatora died in the same manner as Paula, and her PSI was aswell taken by someone (but who?
).
Now the spot was between Duster and Claus, until Claus kicked his a-hole (I couldnt think of anything
) and Claus won.
But who where the ones who killed Kumatora and Paula...it will forever be a mystery...

Paula!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, I remember back then when I wanted her in Melee. To think that from Melee to Brawl we got a new Mother game, and I'd be rooting for another Mother character... didn't see that one comming.

It can happen. Starfox had two reps back in Melee despite that it only had two games at the time. Also, considering that all the MOTHER stuff seen so far is from MOTHER3, it may not be that far fetched.
EDIT: Here's what happened to Paula.
Ness needed some PSI to get in SSB. He forced Paula and Poo to teach them to him. Afterwards, he killed and ***** Paula and killed Poo. Jeff was alive after all this, but he was to scared to get into SSB or SSBM.

and Kuma, you have to remember that Starfox is more popular and well known than MOTHER is/was (MOTHER is more popular now then it used to be... I think). that might have helped get the Second rep in Melee.
another thing that might be worth something, is that Sakurai didn't want Ness in SSB to begin with; he probably wouldn't put in another character from the same game... cause... that would be odd...

While it is true, MOTHER is supposedly well known in Japan, but that has little to no relevance considering that Starfox has been internationally released and whatnot. However, I'm not sure if the international popularity did all that much for Falco. However, Falco was a clone
Nonethless, I will support her, Tom Nook, Lip, Ashley, and any other character I would like playable until the end.

Merry Chistmas, guys Here's my present, a moveset that matches the badasery of Claus! (I worked hard on this)
A - Bash (Hard jab with gun)
A, A - Bash, Slash (Slashes from lower left to upper right)
A, A, A - Bash, Slash, Slash (Back down)
F-Smash - Impale (Stabs sword forward hard)
D-Smash - Shockwave (Stabs ground/lightning spirals out)
U-Smash - Overhead slash (Charges up sword behind back and slashes upwards)
F-Tilt - Straight Jab (Smashes gun forward, similar to Samus' Fsmash but harder/more lag)
D-Tilt - Swipe (Slashes across ground once)
U-Tilt - Overhead Swipe (Like Link's Usmash)
Taunts - 1. Stabs sword in ground, removes Helmet, puts it under his left arm, puts his hand on his hip, and glares at the screen.
2. Enters the stance from his battle sprite (first sprite above)
3. His helmet, gun, and swordfade quickly, and he puts his hand out.
Grab - PK Paralysis; Attacking sends blasts of psychic energy through the enemy
U-throw - Points sword directly up, and the enemy spirals around it several times before getting flung up
F-throw - Blasts enemy with a massive amount of PSI, launching them forward
B-throw - Same as Fthrow, but Claus swings them behind him before he throws
D-throw - Slams enemy against ground several times before tossing them slightly up and back
Neutral B - Cannon (Fires a blue beam like Fox's laser, but stronger and has more lag; charging makes the beam longer and hits multiple time, fully charging makes the beam a straight beam that stretches across the whole screen)
Smash B - Lightning (Claus swings and a massive lightning bolt crashes down in front of him; goes through ANYTHING and covers the screen vertically)
Down B - Pig Bomb (Throws a bomb onto the ground that acts exactly like a Bob-omb)
Up B - Flight (Jetpack blasts him up COMPLETELY vertical, and his wings expand and he can fly horizontally for a few seconds)

Wings: Claus can glide with them also. Press Up B while he's using his Up B to keep his wings open afterwards.
