I remember the best days here. I would insult SSBBawl and immediately get a bunch of angry twelve-year olds spamming the topic with why I was a "troll" and why Brawl was clearly a deep, technical fighter. Damn, time flies.

My challenge is still open for the time being, though things seem to have died down.

Yes, I would say it is. No, hacking your Wii is not necessary, as there is a hackless method; although there are slightly different requirements. I should also mention that installing Homebrew is actually low-risk if you follow the suggested procedure. Every Wii I have installed it on thus far have worked fine.


I'm game. I'll be using Lucario since he has piqued my interest recently, and mine has performed rather well.

So you don't need hacking to get homebrew?

GG Jinx. Sorry I played so oddly, but this game still feels slow and awkward to me. You're not as bad as you implied, just rely less on counters, rolls, and other easily punishable things and you'll be golden.

Since the shutdown back in may, there has been less players(including me), I know I was saddened by it because I knew I would never get to use my 5 main characters again, I still come to the arena somewhat, just to see if it's active.

Why not? You can still play on the custom server, even without hacking, as I mentioned.

Yeah but you need an SD card to upload it, and that's something I don't have. Meaning that I don't have the funds to purchase one, so I'm left to wait for smash 4.

First, there's some guidelines for the in-game ruleset in the opening post you may want to review.

Second, it lagged probably because we live a ways away/there was interference/etc.
