I still dont know what crouch cancelling is. Could someone enlighten me please?
I just started melee but like...

Basically if your crouching while you get hit by a move, the knockback will be GREATLY reduced, sometimes to the point where you can even punish the opponent for hitting you. Peach is a known abuser of this, being able to punish with a down smash if done correctly.

Btw I think converse is having trouble connecting with me.
Anyone else wanna P:M?

Lol, your gonna play mewtwo too? He's really fun man. His learning curve seems a little high, but float and teleport shenanigans are the best. <3

ha learning curves mean nothing to me! i already mastered this guy since hes my melee main too. just a few tweaks and i got it. still need to master when to use float exactly. but i think i got the main idea down. i just need to play wifi to fully master him. ive wanted mewtwo since forever!!

i dont think i actually mastered him but i think the learning curve itself is over and my skill is whats holding me back now :p

also floating nair spam is the best <3

Hmmm I actually need to use his float alot more probably. =/
but yeh. N-air is damn incredible. Bahaha!

I actually have some trouble playing him on platform stages to be honest. I gotta train A LOT more, but I think his playstyle might really click with me, considering they completely changed how Lucario plays. >_>

Oh uh.

Still up for a PM battle if anyone wants to play. :T

I find mewtwos float alows him to space, punish, and especially WALL crazily well. Epecially nair and bair. I find Mewtwo and charizard's aerials/normals to perform similar functions, though they obviously have different playstyles. Note their fair look identical and combo nearly the same though :p

So far, the way i've been using f-air is SH, Teleport, F-air right after I leave the ground.
He's able to act almost immediatly if you teleport into the air.
Makes for a good surprise KO.

But yea, it seems like Mewtwo's playstyle is gonna be wall/harass the opponent until they make a mistake then capitlize hard with teleports, and his wonderful tilts. Like. Almost all his throws make for pretty good KO moves too.

I think i'll start playing PM online once i've practiced some more and improved my tech skill a bit. Even more-so i'm start to get the hang of and have better control of Yoshi. Hands hurt from all the fast inputs tho lol.

PS: Turbo Samus and MK are broken

Well, I'm done Star, GGs. :)

...Though I feel so dumb that I got hit by your Yoshi Bombs more than I should've. Yoshi's Jab is sooooo annoying for me to deal with as well. -___-
Also I failed my recoveries and I airdodged past the ledge without my double jump lmao

You can Sdi Yoshi's first jab bro (just have to read it, which isn't hard at all xD).

So, hows the genetic Melee brawlers doing? Having fun?

Edit: You all take things to seriously. Man! Ha ha

i cant wait to get out of college and play you again ;~; i said before im gonna be the best mewtwo but now theres so many already and now it looks unlikely since i never been serious about PM before. i just used bowser and won because hes bowser! now i have to learn to actually be good at this game :p

but i also found that you can float by doing an aerial and while in the aerial hold a direction and jump till it finishes. i find float more useful than teleport.. but then again i can only play cpus and they dont fall for teleport -.-
