Updated... I really hate tripping for no reason.

There should only be tripping when it's caused by something (banana, move etc)

I agree completely. I don't disagree with the notion itself, but the fact that just running can induce it. It's so ridiculous.

It sucks, sure, but it certainly adds another element to skilled gameplay.

You have to weigh the odds versus the gains.

If it's more profitable to walk in the long run or if the risk of dashing is worth the speed.
I hate it myself, but I can see a person enjoying the idea. It's a bit too frequent though. No one trips that often except a ****** on speed.

Just a few pointers:

- Bair after a double dsmash
- Never roll TO a D3. Ever.
- Hyphen usmash more than upB, it lasts longer and has a better chance of making contact.
- Don't use your downB so early in recovery - you often might need it to get an extra footstool.

Your ZSS is really good, though.

Good stuff Faded Image, you play really fast like me :).
In addition to what Cyanide said, you should:

- never do the full jab combo on DDD, or even 2 for that matter
- work on your off the stage edgeguarding, and go for the d-smash to down B spike from the stage. That destroys DDD when given the opportunity (which I saw you had a couple times).
- don't go for too many grabs especially on DDD

My own advice to Faded against DDD is not to play so close up. Dedede is one of those characters that always beats you up close, so keep your distance, and pressure him from far away. Try to use more bair/nair shield pressure. I know you want to save your bair for KOs, but bair is so so so so so so much better for pressuring a shield that's behind you than Plasma Whip. I can't even begin to describe.

Avoid fsmash. Maybe it's only coming out as a mistake, but I feel I need to say it anyway.

Don't be so free and easy with those suit pieces. If you're really pressed, just throw one or two of them off. Most important is that your opponent shouldn't be getting to them that easily.

Use dair to cancel out upward momentum.

At first I thought you meant the DSmash > Marth-Dolphin Slash, then I thought you meant the DSmash chain where you caught the Marth at the end...then I finally got to the end and saw what I think you actually meant. >.>;

Haha, I meant the d-smash chain on Fox. I only really did it right on the last stock, and the best thing to do is double d-smashes and end with a forward B. It was really a bad DI on his part to die at that percentage, but he did pretty well and is an underrated player.

Doesn't make it any less of a bad idea to CP Fox against a ZSS. :p

Couldn't you have done it further? If so, I think doing it the two or three more times to the ledge into a spike would have been a better idea, but I could be wrong?

he probably could have done it more if he had stayed close to fox and rolled around him, but that would have taken longer. This wasn't 1v1. His teammate could have helped out if he had messed up.

On that note, I played ZSS for the first time in a tourney on Friday (I normally play ROB, but I got CP'd to brinstar. X.x). Got it on video and everything. Saw you guys don't have many Lucario vids, so I figured I'd post it up for ya'll to add (or not add, I have no idea if I'm good enough or not to be up there? XD)

Just a suggestion, would it be a good idea to have weekly character match up video's ?
In that way we could get more footage of all characters, and from there we could maybe discuss vids individualy (say we pick one , perhaps the best depending on how everybody thinks about it,) maybe that'll help us in the character match ups. Next to the fact that we'll have a huge video archive (in which we could maybe rate video's on a scale of 1 to 10)

How do you guys think about this ?

p.s. I'm trying to become more commited the zss community normally I only and read never reply

We prolly do not have enough people to make that happen. We get new videos in groups and then nothing for a while.

Yeah that's probably true, well i'll at least try to put a few vids of me playing a character currently not in the list of available vids. That way you could a least see me play zss and see if I'm qualified enough to add something to the community :psycho:

Some time next week, either monday, wednesday, or friday, I should be recording some matches with some good people...I'll try to have them up by next week...Lucas, Pit, Marth, D3, Yoshi...
