Welcome to the NEOH thread! This is where we plan smashfests, tournaments, meetups, and chat! I do my best to keep this place updated, but if I miss something, please feel free to tell me!

Lokii is ACTUALLY updating this wow so cool.

This thread is primarily for social stuff and planning stuff. I may or may not put updates here depending on how lazy I am at any given time/busy with school (i am both very lazy and very busy with classwork 90% of the time)

The NEOH group sucks. This thread will provide a solid base for getting things in gear on a widespread scale. Our area's turnouts, amount of tournaments, planning habits, and player improvement/drop-out rate has been deplorable recently. Lokii and I hope to remedy this by both starting up our own respective series and, in time, hope to incorporate more "homegrown" players into the scene as well as attract some out of state and more Cincinnati attention. ITT gave NEOH a great start with his Test Your Might series, until the LAN center unfortunately closed down.

I'm in the process of getting a hold of a solid, spacious venue that is in a good location for food, housing, and so on; while Lokii is in the process of starting things up at her school which she claims can hold up to 200+ people (for the sake of visualization).

The general Ohio thread is just that...too general. It won't help what we're doing here.

Which is awesome, but frankly NEOH needs more than just one series of smashfests and a low turnout tournament once every decade. Let's not forget how many NEOH players there are who do not drive and how far we're spread out.
