So, I'm playing Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground and I pick up this armor called "Leather Halter Top". I'm about 1/3 of the way into the game so I'm thinking "An armor upgrade that is woman's clothing?" and so I check the stats. My current armor (Scale Mail) has +14 Defense and the Halter Top has -20 defense with no other stats. Sadly, looking at the description shows a serious description..I was hoping for "lol women" as the description..


Anyway. I'm getting stuff to be able to record games through my laptop that way we can have a dedicated recording TV at tournaments so we can get more videos of LA smash up. I also plan to take this with me to Eric/Vaughn's when I go to play over there. : O

It's looking to cost me $10 + Whatever it cost me to get GameBridge on E-bay (looking at $20-$30 for it right now).

No longer will we have to drag Alex over to record us playing in the finals. lol

That'd be cool. I've looked into a GameBridge before, but I decided against it when the biweeklies got canceled. Amazon has them for $30, I think. Anyways, maybe I'll go ahead and get one as well. Then we could have 2 TVs recording. This means more than just finals on video, woo.

Randall, GameBridge runs for $180 now. It's been out of production for a bit and that's why.

I saw this. It looks like a nice alternative and I was gonna grab that if I couldn't nab a GameBridge within the week.

Oh, and the only problem I see with the dedicated recording TVs is the NOLA crew fighting for those TVs. lol. Though, even if it were an issue, that wouldn't be anything big or anything to really worry about at all. Just something I thought about that'd be amusing.

I was initially sort of excited to see that, but I called the guy running it today and he said he's not really into Smash so it's going to be one of his friends running it. That's not necessarily a bad thing; I just feel a bit skeptical because it was on the SRK forum and the people there seem to have a different view of how Smash should be played. It seems likely that they might go with the EVO rule set which includes items and smash balls.

I've been doing a low level run of Mario RPG. It's pretty hard. Mario's never supposed to go higher than level 3. The first Croco fight took me about 15 minutes to beat..

How do you stay low level in Super Mario RPG? Do just skip all unnecessary enemies and focus on the boss? If so, how would you keep a stock on items because surely you'd need them to fight the bosses throughout the game? My mind has exploded all over my cubicle.

Is anybody going to be at Dibbz today? I'd like to go and play with some of you guys and gauge where I'm at on a competitive level. However, I've never been to Dibbz before and I think it'd be awkward if I just go and be like, "Hey, can I smash too?" I was thinking I'd go today, especially since they're doing the double the time you pay for thing.

Well actually there's this trick with Mario's Jump attack where it's power increases by 2 for every time that you use it and you can do it up to 125 times before it maxes out. Just use it on spikeys and run away so you get no experience since they're immune to it. Beat only the bosses up to Punchinello so you can get the Lucky Jewel and use that in every battle and lose the experience game every time. That way Mario stays at level 3.

Pretty fun challenge. It could even also be a speed run if done correctly. Might have to sacrifice the Jump Trick though.

As of right now, I'd say the chances of me being at the tournament on the 18th is like 99.99%. I have nothing planned for that Friday and I don't plan on having anything planned. So yeah, I can bring my TV, table, chairs, etc. I have another smaller TV (about the size of the ones they already have at Gameware), so if you want me to bring that one I guess I could. If there's anything else you think of, just let me know and I'll let you know if I can bring it or not. ^_^

I still don't get the Mario RPG deal... High damage is nice and all but what happens when you come across the Water Blasts, Solidifies, and Aurora Flashes? Heh, maybe I'd just have to see it with my own two eyes. Lol. Oh well. Ugh, crap, now I'm all upset again about no Geno in brawl, dammit. XD

Edit: Aaaand I just watched the Yaridovich fight on youtube doing the lvl 3 challenge and ok, it's possible but clearly hard as heck. Again, good luck.

I think I'm gonna set a record for the most NDS's broken by in the ownership of one person. I'm on, like, my 5th DS.

1st one: Broke it after slamming by booksack down too hard. Got it fixed, broke it again after jumping off the swing and landing like an idiot.
2nd one: Lost it
3rd one: The hinge broke off and eventually the circuit wires broke.
4th one: Got smashed by a two year old.

I'm wonder how this next one will break....


P.S. Black people suck, they let their destructive *** childern go around and break other people's NDS's and don't pay for a new one. Stupid darkies >:O

Also, I'll let you know how the Diamond VC500 works. You really only need 1 Y-Splitter. The other two are audio ports. I got 3 because I'd prefer to have audio as well, but that's up to you. All in all, this cost me circa $60, which isn't bad at all in my opinion. Hopefully it's as good as the reviews say. But yeah, I'll let you know on that. : )
