It's funny cause like, ROB does good on all the random *** gay stages that no one plays on. SkyWorld, Hanenbow, Norfair, Luigi's..it's like..CPs are made for ROB. It's probably just that ROB does awesome on any stage so gimping his opponent's options is a better choice than picking a stage that buffs him. Or at least that's what I think.. Like ROB takes projectile spammers to Luigi's, pillars stop them but ROB shoots through them. Play someone with a bad ledge game, you go to Norfair, Rainbowcruise or Hanenbow, ect, ect. Which is like..the opposite of Melee where peach or jiggly picks Dreamland or Mute City cause they effing live forever.

You can tech after the Up-B pulls you back in. Even if that weren't the case, it looks like there's enough hits within the up-b to SDI out of it.

you don't even have to SDI, regular DI works too. I tried it many times against my friends and definitely doesn't work on something that doesn't stand still.

It sounds interesting. I'm planning on going to Unlimited in MS, so I need practice. Between now and then there's Dibbz tourney, Gameware 2, MFTW, and whatever Mechacon has to offer. I can't make MFTW today, but maybe next time if some BR people are interested in riding with me.

Speaking of Unlimited, who all is planning to go (specifically BR)? I'd like a teammate for Brawl and Melee, preferably someone I can practice with (Vaughn?). Also, I may have some space in my car for people, we'll have to see.

MM now!!! My friend still has my SNES so it'd have to be yours, if not a MM then we should def have some vs matches. Kirby's Dreamland > Kirby's Avalanche anyday, much more depth.

Is Unlimited that Biloxi tourney? If it is, I was planning on going and I believe I was riding with Taylor (By this time he would've already started living at my place.) So it's whatever from this point as far as playing or preparing for it goes. I don't really wanna plan too far ahead.

As far as teams go from this point on, I'm a free agent. So whoever wants me can make like some sort of agreement or something. As long as everyone has a partner.

Ok.

First choose an arbitrary a and b, then let t = a + b. Now the calculations.

a + b = t
(a + b) (a - b) = t(a - b)
a^2 - b^2 = ta - tb
a^2 - ta = b^2 - tb
a^2 - ta + (t^2)/4 = b^2 - tb + (t^2)/4
(a - t/2)^2 = (b - t/2)^2
a - t/2 = b - t/2
a = b

The entire concept of math is therefore wrong. : D

Being the math geek that I am, I have to show you the error of your ways, Sudai.

Consider this:

sqrt(4) = +/- 2

So given
[sqrt(4) = sqrt(4)]

I could obtain
[2 = -2], which is obviously not true. How one takes an even root (+ or -) matters. Just because sqrt(4) could equal -2, it doesn't mean it will equal -2 in every case (or +2 for that matter).

So in your case,
(a - t/2)^2 = (b - t/2)^2
a - t/2 = +/- (b - t/2) [Only one set is really needed, a second +/- will just make it -/+, and that's the same thing.]

If the + (b - t/2) case is taken, then you get something which is not true, so it must be the wrong root. The -(b-t/2) case yields a different result:

a -t/2 = -b +t/2
a + b = t

This true because of the premise. Math wins again.


So yeah, maybe I should main the robot??

actually Kirby's Dream Course is a game of very little depth. It is possible to hole-in-one over half the courses in the entire game, as well as hole-in-one 2 Player mode courses. You just memorize the correct coordinates and shoot, use the right powers at the right time...and keep it going.
not that its easy..but for instance...
My brother has a Gold Medal in every course, as well as having unlucked the hard mode because of it. He has memorized some perfect strategies to guarantee victory in record-number shots. You can even find these stats in gamefaqs.

I'm pretty sure me and my bro would **** anyone in both Dream Course and Avalanche, no johns.
I much prefer Avalanche though (aka PuyoPop aka Dr.Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine). I've played that game for 15 years =]

i will be probably going to the next tourney. going to give brawl another try. i havent touch brawl since 3lt, until last week. i played computer for the whole week, and felt my skills go away. repeating bad habits i know will get me killed playing someone irl. forgetting to do things i should do that the computer dont punish me for. well i wont touch brawl until the tournament, and i plan on winning the tourney =D
