I feel the same way about most of you guys too. So on the bright side, the feeling is mutual.no its because some of the time the things you say are ********.
It's a game that will hopefully die when the next smash is released.Whats brawlol? (stupid comment from a Melee player. I is guilty).
Way to be a tryhard BrianWhen I did my tournies, I always had at least 2 power strips and a Wii with Brawl, and it's very rare that I don't bring at least a Wii to an event. I couldn't scrounge up a TV back then, but I did what I could.
I'll never understand how putting effort towards something became a bad thing. Are we all supposed to be lazy, lest we get labelled as tryhards? SMH.Way to be a tryhard Brian
Come to Open Woooooorrrrrlllllddddd. Next event is this Sunday. I doubt I will make it because I'm going to the beach with some friends for a well needed vacation.I'm getting top 2 at the next local I go to. Enough of this.
@ChKn - I might. I plan to stick to offline for a while to make sure my execution is 100% down.
Some sort of background (probably want to go with 1080 or 720) would be awesome, and maybe even something to use as a splash screen. If I want minor details (like borders for each separate video feed) I can probably do them myself, but a main background is what we need. I actually made one long ago that I liked, but I'm not sure where it is right now. I may have lost it in a data transfer at some point, used to be in my pictures I'm pretty sure.If you need anything help with the presentation of streaming, let me know. I'm piecing **** together in my head atm.

Like their page on facebook. That's how we find out about this stuff.I'm assuming most of you will give SSB4 a shot, so how do you guys think we should handle the ruleset?
Edit: Can we get a link to Open World this Sunday?
I like that one. If you added more to it somehow (either quantity or variance) and maybe turned it about 45 degrees so it would flow from corners then it would be perfect (to me, anyhow). I will ask Erick what he thinks of it all, but he generally doesn't care as long as it looks good. The design of that is great, but it just looks a little too neat. Regardless, video inputs will be placed overtop the background and I have those usually in a diagonal formation or maybe a triangle (main view is off-center, a complementary commentators cam in some sort of diagonal from it, and then anything else goes wherever there is room or maybe even on a second page that is swapped out since I use Xsplit mostly).I just don't like camping ****ery for 24 minutes. Amazingly, over the course of the last year and a half. Brawl is getting more and more away that point, aside from certain matchups. As a state, we've done a pretty good job with our stage list. We obviously had to go with the status quo for a bit of our stages, but that was to prepare for OoS.
Interested in seeing what the Melee side has to say, considering they've been though quite a bit of changes to their ruleset.
@XKCP: I did this tutorial for one of my screensavers in 2012. I just want some type of flow. The actual size is 1366 width and 768 height.

Alright, I'll see what I can do tomorrow or later tonight.I like that one. I like the layout a lot more than the edit to the background. Tbh, I should have clarified that adding quantity to the background meant also dispersing it so it wouldn't end up looking cluttered. It's starting to remind me of math class. Stream layout is great and would be enough; I just thought it would maybe have more space on it, especially if we tried to cram a player cam in there, but that can be a different page altogether so no worries.Alright, I tried to tinker with the background for it, but I'm not really feeling it.

I'll make a quick mockup of the stream layout based off of the last one I made. Although, I might just have to make a new background. Probably similar to the one I made for the last Wintercon.
This is what I had in mind for one of the layouts of the stream.
