Unfortunately pikachu falco is only interesting in tournament. Its an awful MU for friendlies. But I'd be happy to use my MK lol.
Regardless, I'd love to do some friendlies next tournament we both attend.

All this Falco talk just reminds me of when me and Sethlon played a hour long friendly (unlimited time, no stocks, we just got exhausted after a while lol) where at one point we spent 30min with me trying to powershield his lasers and him trying to think of creative ways to mix up lasers to throw off my PShield timing. Good times, good times.

I heard Gunner beat Brawlman in Winner's (sucks they played each other), and LA beat Tyler in a crew battle. Anything else happened?
I nearly beat infinity in winners semis (game 3 50 sec on clock % tied) but got windmilled on :(. Then bman beat me game 3 in losers semis, while in star KO animation. Fun tournament, but I'm salty.

Good job guys. Glad to hear y'all did good.

Get Hype got about 5 people, so we just did pools. It was basically an all out brawl for us non ranked people. We had a lot of good matches. A couple of upsets on a couple of games. I got 3rd. I still have issues with Kyuubi's MK and Giglo's ROB. **** too intense.

I managed to snag 3rd in singles and dubs with Gunner and 2nd in Wasaeda with Okuser. Definitely satisfied with my results.

@BSP It was 15 I believe.

Regardless of the outcome today, I got to see the evidence that I'm still improving. I gave some great players a really really hard time. Brawlman you better step it up. I think your sonic's still got it...

Yeah I am very disappointed that my Marth did far more work than my Sonic this tourney. :(
Still got a ways to go but I won't stop now!

If Brawlman decides to go Marth pretty much full time, then I will just have to respond by getting better with Toon Link. Marth vs. TL is one of the most epic MUs of the game.

It's just y'all's continual drive and commitment that I like.
1. You can afford a $200 match?
2. What's the match?

(And just having 200 doesn't mean you can afford it. I would feel bad If I left you with no money for a month)

I don't have many costs at the moment. So yes I can.
We designate a starting point, then you have one month from that point to learn the game. Then we play a normal brawl set for 200$.

Sorry I missed Tyler guys, we don't have many drivers in Houston and no one was able to take us this weekend unfortunately. Good job Brawlman and Gunner. I heard good things, glad you impressed as well as I expected. Please come back for HOBO if you can. Its on May 11th, thats 3 weeks.

Ah, my bad. lol. That said, I still don't have the patience for Brawl(Or any game in a tourney environment really). That's a big part of why I stopped playing. I've seen GF sets go past the 1h30m mark. Had a 28min set myself (Me vs JohnWu Lucario vs ROB camp fest at its finest) at a DIBBZ tourney that was in the first round of bracket. That's when I started to edge away from the scene I think.

Anyway, random walk in to Sudai history for no reason.

uugugghghgghghg I really wish I could have gone!!!! Next one I WILL be there!!! S/Os to Gunner, Okuser, and Bman; y'alls matches were awesome!!

BTW, I'm going to my church today to discuss and plan a game night with my youth pastor, and a Smash tourney is going to be the main event. I'll give you guys the date when it's set, but I'm shooting for this weekend.

Note: This isn't a professional tourney with a payout, and there might be only two people (including me) that know the metagame. The "Gentleman's Rule" will apply to a lot of things to make it fun for the people who may have never played smash before, but they'll still have to play by the tourney's rulesheet (probably the Apex rulesheet) if asked to. It would be cool if some smashers could show up, so me and my friend will actually have some competition lol... It will be fun though considering that I'll be working closely with the TOs so that the tourney runs like an actual tournament. More information will come later today once we're done planing, but if anyone is interested let me know.
