Wow i was on a whole nother wavelength there. Cool, glad to hear you're running it then. Anybody considering going to the next Who's Tyler in May? It'll be part of the Lone Star Circuit so maybe some big names will be there idk.

Just had some wifi friendlies and a seriously with Gunner. It feels so nice to play someone who knows what they're doing and will actually punish you for stupid ****. God, I hope Smash 4 has respectable online. It would help so much.

I personally use a really awesome splitter that I got a long time ago and a little Dazzle 100.

I don't really know all the options out there, but this one does not fail me. I know some people have had problems with it though, most of which are software issues and not hardware.
EDIT: This setup costs about 50-60 bucks depending upon the splitter and if you can get the Dazzle for cheaper than its retail price. You can get HD recording (lol, Melee and a CRT, let's get real) for a bit more, closer to 100 dollars.

Back when we were recording we were using a Dazzle and splitters. Splitters are cheap as ****. Your other super cheap option is a VCR

I'm bringing my dazzle this saturday to give to erick, i'm not sure if we'll be able to record with it at that tournament but for sure next time.
You'd also need a laptop to use with the dazzle. The recording program that comes with the dazzle should be installed on a computer. Unfortunately, I tried installing dazzle software on my computer and it utterly rejected it. It was stupid.
On a side note, I'm pretty excited about Saturday. It sounds like we will have a pretty good turnout for Brawl and Melee. Though if I've learned anything, you can trust people's words farther than you can throw them. :/

I highly recommend switching your theme from smashboards dark to default. It makes everything soooo much easier to see and read. Sigs are still annoying but it's a lot better imo

My eyes burned from viewing the default. Ruby is the best one imo and there really needs to be a clear distinction between sigs and regular posts. My sig looks like I quoted someone from this thread.

its not that bad. but best improvement for sure is i can disable custom colors. no more looking at outrageous vibrant unreadable colors.

The problem is there is only a one pixel width grey line that divides each post. If they made that 3-5 pixels and changed the line to the same color as the background color of the site, it would look a lot more "divided".

there are some really glaring issues with this new forum.
This was posted here a few weeks ago, but does anyone think they will be able to make this melee tournament next Saturday in Houston? DoH and some people from Mexico will be there, as well as almost all of Texas. Last tournament had 48 people enter singles, and it's looking like there will be a similar turnout. If anyone can make it, please post in the thread to hype it up!
