You recognize that they're completely different games and don't try to play them the same way. That's like asking how you can play Mario Kart and League of Legends and still be good at both imo.

How do you guys play melee and brawl

I can't do it
It isn't too bad. The games are pretty damn different, and the characters most people are going to play are completely different than their mains in each game; however the worst is to play Project M and then try to play Brawl.

i disagree, the games are not pretty damn different lol, it's the same exact concept. when i go marth or gannon or something in brawl, i can't help but to hit the shield button like an idiot every time i land with an aerial. melee is very habit forming, so when you're plying a similar character it kind of ****s you up. i'm also tempted to dash dance and and dont expect to reverse aerial rush when sometimes it does. the transition from brawl to melee is not bad, but melee to brawl gives you some issues.

You don't have to press the trigger all the way down to l cancel in Melee. In fact I would say every good player does not do so. And since there's no light shield in brawl you should never accidently shield

Tayhj, remember that normal I played twisted fate in with you? 2 people reported me in that ONE game and I got a 3 day ban. Lol...

Also what's annoying is that the guy completely lied in his description, saying I was continuously diving towers and intentionally feeding. Pretty ********.

did i say that i accidentally shield? please learn how to read. and how to spell.

beside's that kind of thing is player preference. however you wanna pull off whatever you pull off. doesn't matter how you push buttons, it matters what you do when you push them.

it's not about proofreading, it's about your lack of knowledge. you didn't misspell "accidentally" because of a typo, you misspelled it because you can't spell. and if your time is too valuable to learn how to spell, then well..you should probably reevaluate your priorities.

anyway, it was not so much that it "matters" than it is simple evidence of the games being similar and that playing both brawl and melee can interfere with your playing. that's all.

I spell like ****. Thankfully we have spellcheck. Spelling is basically unimportant now days so long as you can get close enough that computers know what you mean.

Why the **** does his spelling matter anyway? As long as everyone was able to understand what he was saying then it shouldn't matter. Leave the grammar nazis bull**** on YouTube.

I haven't seen one in ages. I should go play with Taylor and it should occur within minutes.
