Oi! Thanks <3!

lol ChRed, the Cuccoo Mafia? And Link doesn't steal man. I mean the bird has awesome prices and uses the honor system. How can Link steal from that!? lol

And as for funny points in the game, I'm starting to get freaked out by the
Obligitory gay guy in Zelda games. lol "Hey there BIG GUY!" >_< I maen if he just lost the halter-top it wouldn't be all that bad.

And does anyone feel ripped off with the
Magical Armor!? It looks freaking amazing, but, well the only effective way to use it is in an unrealistic sense. Like in Biohazard where you can switch guns in mid battle by pausing the game. When an attacks coming you can't stop, just change your clothes. >_> Otherwise you'll be out of rubies in a minute.

And as for the controls, you've got to remember that TP is just a Gamecube game ported to the Wii. The graphics aren't that of this generation (even though it's pretty close especially for the "weakest system" of last generation.) As for the Sword swinging deal, it's fun. It's not the full RedSteel style sword combat. But keep this in mind. It's been said that TP is the LAST of the Zelda games as we know them. Can you say Elder Scrolls style gaming...? Just a guess, but the next Wii Zelda game will more then likely take full advantage of the wiimote and on top of that, may be fully interchangable from third to first person.

Ahh well, if the next Zelda comes out and it's only used by the Wii remote... it won't be all that bad, I suppose. Never know until you give it a try.

I don't really want the Wii to make 'most' of it's games using the remote thingie. I kinda just wanna use a normal controller every now and then.

I think they're doing that anyway, I'm not sure, I'm not too informed of the Wii or anything, I haven't looked into it or its games.

Still...

I'm gonna get this game anyway. Looks awesome.

And Magic Armor that you can switch through the Start Menu? I thought you couldn't press start while fighting... or was that my imagination? XD Probably.

Nah, you can press start at any point. And there isn't reall a start button on the Wii. For Zelda you use the - button for your items such as bow and arrows and bombs, and the + button for equipment such as shields, tunics, and swords.
Tunics look awesome!

I prefer the Wiimote for the fact that its funner but it's batteries tick me off. Well i can still get batteries i just want nintendo to have some recharging thing even with the wiimotes "limited ports".

 Ha! my batteries died right when i was fighting the desert's temple boss (2nd form) atleast i replaced them.:)

Yawn, beat the game in 25 hours 13 minutes. This game wasn't easier then the others so much as the dungeons were more detailed and thus easier to figure out.

And I'm hoping that the USB ports on the Wii might someday house a recharging station for the Wiimote.

Ya, the usb ports should hook to some recharge thing for the wiimote to sit in like one of those phones that stand up but u cant play at the same time like ds or gbasp because of no ports im the wiimote.

Wow, only 25 hours? That's so short. x_x;;

Oh well, better than most. Some games only take like a day. =/

I'll have to stretch out the times I play the game, then, so I don't finish it too quickly. XD

Im a tad dissapointed in the game, dont get me wrong its my fav. 1-player game of all, but there are some things I didnt like:

1) The fact that u cant learn techniques in wolf form
2) The easiness of the bosses, cmon give me OoT difficulty!!
3) The fact that the sages are not the ones from OoT, were they go?
4) The fact that almost all the game the bad guy to beat was Zant, then out of nowhere its ganondorf...
5) Zelda didnt had such a big role as in OoT or WW IMO, I mean we only saw her 2 times in the same tower and in the end, how about givin her a bigger role...
6) The fact that all the game long I believed that Zant was some ultimate evil guy, to match the evilness of ganondorf, and turns out he was just some weak guy, and kinda crazy, very disapointing...
7) Ganondrof like zelda should have gotten a bigger role than that, I mean u dont meet ganond. til the end of the game, would have been nice if he would have appeared way before, maybe killin zant for his failure of killin link, or both zant and ganondorf teamin up and puttin the spell on link or both of them bringing chaos to hyrule or something...
8) The fact that they didnt explain something, I mean ganondorf was imprisoned in OoT by the sages, he said he would return, and yeah he returned, but he aint the same ganondorf, i mean if he WAS the same one then he would have said something aoput link and zelda about their ancestors imprisining them in that realm or something, if they would have explained this ganondorfs story a little bit better then it would have been good...
9) gorons didnt had such a big role like they did in OoT wich was disapointing
10) the not so great finale...

thats a lot of stuff I know, still the game is incredibly sweet, still it could have been better (Prepares for flaminbg)...

You have to backtrack to the room with the giant scale in it. Put all the little ballish things on one side of the scale and Link on the other. From there the path is pretty clear (you gotta use the hookshot and spinner to get to the key).

ummmm, I got the boss key in the sky temple.......how do I get the windmills to spin to get to the boss?
In the big room just before it, look at the ceiling; you'll see a big red switch you need to trigger by hanging on it with your clawshot and iron boots.

Holy ****, you're suppose to do that? It took me thirty minutes, but I ended up finding a way to get across without spinning. You have to aim so far that you cannot see what you are doing, the very edge of the screen, but you can get that last shot off without dyeing.

Jesus, that was the hardest part of the game for me. ****.

Lol eorliongas. I tried to do the same thing before...
I would make it to the last one and not figure out a way to get on land and just fall down. After trying for a while I decided there was no way in hell Nintendo wanted to make it that hard and found the switch.

oh ya forgot about him.

Question:

Is there a warp close to the
hidden village?
because it takes me for ever to get there from hyrule field even though epona speeds it up.

Answer:

Stop being so blasted lazy. LOL! As far as I know, there is no closer warp point unless you are referring to a location different than the one I'm thinking of. Just peek into my brain and see if it's the same one, OK?

About how far it takes you

Did you repair the bridge? If not, go to Gerudo desert, and head east until you get to a large obilisk. Go there, and warp it to the broken bridge. It makes the trip much easier.

Rep is affected by how many posts you have?
Yes. I can't remember the specifics, but if you have under 10 rep or less than 10 posts or something like that, your +/- reps have no effect on anyone (hence the gray square rep in your USER CP).

Midna is hot? Midna is a ****ing cat girl. Animalistic characteristics are not hot. She's cute, in the way that a teddy bear is cute. But you wouldn't **** a teddy bear, now would you?

And for the love of god, no one respond to this with that lame Robot chicken video of a guy ****** the Charmin bear.

OK, so I have some questions...
COuldn't get a Wii at New York city ANYWHERE yesterday, but I DID get to try out the Wii and di very well--they let me play a little longer than usual to beat the demo, which was easy because I knew how to kill the boss.

Anyway!

1.) Do the later secret techniques take more advantage of the wiimote? "Finish" (jump/down-stab) and
"Headsplitter"
look satisfying, but the Sheild bump is actually more satisfying somehow because you actually DO it.
Do later techniques take more advantage of the motion sensing?

2.) Is there lag in the controller in your playing environments? Sword slashing, sure, but I mean AIMING. Because I PLAYED it, and there was about a half-second of lag (or at least enough lag that was noticeable) while playing, and it REALLY bugged me. It was like using a mouse that lagged. Not cool.
Sword swipes I suppose I can understand, but not the aiming so much.
Also, shooting is difficult not because of aiming but because when I release the button, the controller moves--my finger presses down and thus tilts it down slightly, then releases and lets it go up slightly, near as I can tell.
If there were no lag, this wouldn't be so much of a problem, but there is, so it means my shots are off.
I guess I just need a steadier hand or something, but it's part of the learning curve required.

A lot of people have complained that they didn't like the story
because it apparently does not enhance the Zelda legacy--as in, there is no reference to the Trifroce and the ending is not about Link, Zelda and Ganon all meeting in one place, nor does it explain much to connect it to previous Zeldas, main complaint being that it doesn't explain the flooded world of Wind Waker (in that regard). However, is this really such a problem? My favorite Zelda story so far was that of Majora's Mask, my fav Zelda game to date, and that had no reference to the Triforce, no Zelda, no Ganon...and that didn't bother me at all because the world and its characters were so well-done. What do you guys think?

So the wait continues for me, only now I have a shiny, sexy gold disc to torture me, which I bought so I would not be tempted to get the GCN version, and also because the Nintendo Store doesn't charge any tax.

1. No, later techniques don't use the wiimote anymore than swinging your sword uses the Wiimote.

2. I've put forty hour into (and won) the game. I have noticed zero lag. I move the wiimote, the sword swings. Aiming in particular was incredibly easy, once I got used to it. It feels just as accurate as a mouse. The only time I had any problem was when I was aiming at something so far away that it was no more than a few pixels on the screen.

As for the story, It seemed fine to me. It didn't capitalize on Zelda and Ganon, but Midna is awesome.
Whoever said that the ending isn't about Link, Zelda and Ganon all meeting in one place needs to go fight the final boss fight again.

Gonzales, the guy's afterthoughts (spoilers abound) are HERE.
MAJOR spoilers for many are in there, including big storyline stuff!
SO BEWARE!!!
Don't say I didn't warn you, steer clear from these if you hate spoilers, I didn't even read the entire section because there was big stuff in there as far as storyline goes!!

Anyway, feel free to argue or agree with his comments, I can't say much because I haven't beaten the game--but I can say I did love Majora's Mask more than any Zelda game, and that storyline was very different from the previous titles.

Anymore comments on the Wii functionality?

DS - After playing TP on the Wii, I cannot imaging going back to using a regular controller.
Often, you'll see clouds of birds flying around things, if you kill them all, rupees will rain from the sky. When you get used to the remote, you can pick them off with such ease it's actually scary. Very intuitive. Sword fighting on the other hand, which is cool, and I like swinging around, but I wouldn't mind pressing a button for that. I could go either way on that, but aiming /w remote = win and peanut butter

I hate aiming with the remote. If you're not at least like 7 feet away from the TV, then the sensor bar can't read your movements for some reason.

I need glasses really bad(which I don't have, and cannot afford) and I have to sit pretty close to the tv.

I just turn the pointer off. It's waaaay easier IMO.

You can't afford glasses, but you can afford a Wii and Zelda?
