To be honest, people your age shouldn't be getting paid to work at all.
You should ****ing do it because it's your duty to obey your elders as a minor.
I swear, I would NOT pay a kid more than $10/hour, unless they were a hitman.
Then I'd pay them healthy lump sums. Still, I'd never need to hire one, I prefer to take care of things myself.

I was getting around 400-500 dollars every two weeks when I just turned seventeen, working full-time* at McDonald's. Still in High School and I was easily clearing forty hours a week.
(* I say this loosely because this was an under the table kinda thing and lots of people, including myself, could have gotten in trouble.)
I personally don't think it's wrong to make work ethic and work incentive ingrained when kids are still mewling teenagers. I'm a helluva lot better off for it and it's taught me quite a bit.
Edit: But MGW is ****ing fourteen.
Get that **** outta here, kid. You probably think 11.50 an hour is well-paid (which, btw, is what I make at my job).
